Very comfortable unit. Proximity to beach great. Pool was nice, hot tub perfect. Beds comfortable and bathrooms great. Nice water pressure. Would have loved beach towels and coffee filters.

The condo was very clean. Beds were very comfortable, as was the couch and sitting area. The balcony had plenty of seating and a great view. Pool was cold (to be expected), and the hot tub was nice. We pretty much had the property to ourselves. Would have loved it if coffee filters and beach towels were supplied.

Love the complex and the beach service

We love this complex. Have been coming here for 14 years. Scenic stays should inspect before turning units between tenants. The owners maintenance person brought us toliet paper on day 2 of our stay as there was none left at time of check in. He replaced bulbs, smoke detector batteries and outlets that didn’t work. Never saw anyone from scenic stays after two emails.

Great location, stayed last September also. It really needs a ceiling fan with lights and a tv in the 1st bedroom and new shower curtains and hooks. The couch and loveseat has seen better days, also the breaker box needs the be vacuumed out its full of lint. And will be staying again in September 2024!!!

Maintenance man was wonderful but we saw him a lot

Managed by scenic stays. No toilet paper left in either bathroom. Lights, plug ins and smoke detector didn’t work. Owners maintenance man was the best person we worked with! He was awesome. Seems that scenic stays doesn’t inspect after housekeeping leaves between tenants. Would have rather rented directly thru the owner. Destin towers is our favorite complex. Love all the owners and Brian with Barefoot rentals.

Birthday stay

Pros: Location was everything!!! The condo was clean & exactly as pictured.Check in/out was easy.Cons:Took a day to get the correct wifi info.Had plumbing issues that was never addressed by maintenance. Water pressure for shower & toilets is low. There were some items listed that were supposed to ne included that were not ( dish, washing detergent)

old, needs a restoration

this appt is old, out dated and needs a sever upgrade. whoever owns this is clearly getting by without an upgrade because no-one i know whould ever stay here twice. my guess is the owners dont care.

Frig don’t work and commode made noise every day . Wasn’t like the picture it advertised

Will never stay in this condo again . We were told we would receive a refund for the 5 days with no frig . I’ve emailed and no response .

Long weekend

The property was very old and in dire need of a facelift. Furniture was old and scratched. Paint was in bad shape. Broken tiles on balcony. Did not appear that the owners actually do any maintenance. Bathroom tile needs replacing. Kitchen appliances were smudged. Would recommend a demo of the space to bring it back to acceptable levels. Internet did not reach front bedroom. Pool and beach were nice.

Worn & Dated

Check-in works well, we made our reservation very last minute and as a result did not do enough due diligence on the unit. How bad could it be?? Well, its in the middle of Destin so a ton of traffic (even in November!), the Beach and pool area are nice. Furniture and appliances need replacing. Bathrooms need to be gutted, rest of unit need major refresh. Wi-Fi non-functional and management did nothing to fix during our 5 day stay. Building is very run down even accounting for its vintage. Worse thing was an obvious "room party" next door on our last night, felt very unsafe. Even for it's lower price, not worth it, will not be back.

To summarize: We made the reservation very last minute and that process went well. Pool and beach very nice, but it went down hill from there. The furniture and appliances are very dated and showing a lot of wear, horrible lighting throughout unit, bathrooms need to be gutted, wi-fi not usable (had to use my personal hot spot the entire stay), we contacted management the first day we were there, but 5 days later totally non-responsive to issues. Overall run down building even accounting for its age, in the middle of Destin activity but busy as a result, had an obvious "room party" next door on the last night of our stay, felt very unsafe loud people all night long. Not worth even the lower rate unless you're OK with that sort of environment. Will not be back.

Would not recommend

I can handle decor being dated but the condo was filthy. It hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. The day we checked in I got a text saying our room was clean and ready to check in. I’m the room our child slept in we found dirty socks, Pepsi cans and a bag of chips. Behind the beds we found a tshirt and a pacifier. The rugs are carpet were gross and crunchy. The photos make the condo look clean and bright. It was dark, almost every room in the place had burnt out bulbs, the battery was hanging out of the smoke detectors and we had to buy batteries for the tv remote. The internet was awful and didn’t work which I had message prior to booking because it was important to us to have good internet and I was told it worked well. I would recommend the complex, we had family staying in a different room on different floors and their rooms were wonderful. I do not recommend this condo.

Beach Views Great - Condo Needs Updating

The lighting in the condo is very dark and dim, several of the lightbulbs were not working as well., even if they were , still really dark. The toilet was not flushed, when we arrived, disgusting. We found somebody’s dirty T-shirt between the bed and the wall. The couches had throw covers on them, but they truly need to be replaced. No screen on the sliding door in the living room that opened up to the deck. No sliding door in the living room that opened up to the deck Only two chairs on the deck and the picture showed 4. The maintenance team did bring us to other chairs. The screen door that was in the master bedroom was off track and did not work. The maintenance team came to fix that. The view is truly amazing. We were not told what parking space to park in as they are numbered. You look out at the pool and out at the beach, so that was the one plus! Beautiful views.
