Fabulous cabin!

What a perfect place for a family vacation!Ample space for seven of us (plus 10 more in cabin A). Well-appointed kitchen with everything you need, great view of the lake and comfortable beds. Between the lake activities, jumping from the sauna to the ice bath, making s'mores on the fire pit or playing board games, there was never a dull moment. We loved every minute of our stay. A special thanks to our host, John, for his kind hospitality, He made us all feel so welcomed and pampered. Can't wait to come back next year!

Great Bay Lake House

Great accommodations with beautiful views. John is fantastic host. The house is well stocked and walking distance to Bay Lake Marina where you can rent a pontoon boat. We will back.

Turn key stay

Last year we stayed at a different place on the lake and we needed to buy pots and pans to meet our cooking needs. With our stay at John’s place this year, it had everything we needed. Pots, pans, paper towels, garbage bags, cordless vacuum, extra blankets, coffee maker, air fryer, grill, fire wood, chairs around the fire pit, more plates than we needed. Everything we needed was there. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend this property and owner. Would definitely stay there again.

5th year at same cabin

Beautiful cabin on the best lake in Minnesota! We have rebooked 5 years in a row for our two families - we’ve already planned and booked year 6. John is the best host - super accessible and responsive. Added a sauna this year which has been so fun - running into the lake after heating up- you sleep like a baby. We loved laying outside at night looking up at the stars - virtually no light pollution. He keeps the firewood in plentiful supply and plenty of seating around the fire. One of our favorite weeks of the year.

Best week of the summer

This was our 4th year staying at this lakeside cabin with our group of 9. Gorgeous views, dedicated dock, plenty of seating on the deck for meals, always meticulously cleaned before we arrive. We’ve gotten to know the owners who come up to the cabin next door on the weekend. They are like extended family now - and very prompt with any needs we have. Years of family memories have been made here!

Third year in a row

We’ve stayed at this property for a week each summer for the past three years. Just booked next year’s trip! The best lake in the brained area by far! The owner is very responsive and often at his cabin next door - super friendly. Well stocked and so peaceful. We love it here!

Once Again a Wonderful Stay

Great location

Met up with childhood friends, all now in our late 30s. While it was late in the year so the docks were in, the location was great and the house had a good setup. Nice place to catch up away from lots of folks but still with high speed internet and access to cable to enjoy the vikings game.
