We booked the garden room due to full capacity so we didn’t have the best view, however, it had all the basic stuff we needed. The bathroom is outdated but that’s to be expected in the islands. The location is right on bounty which was the highlight. The staff were also great :) however, the breakfast is the same everyday, we hoped they would switch it up.

We had a very bad experience being left at the port on the way to Malapascua and I'm hoping Ocean Vida and Hotels.com does the right thing. We took our flight from Manila to Cebu and took the 4 hour van ride (coordinated with the hotel) only to be left stranded at the port due to weather conditions. We spent the night at a room by the port, paid extra fees for this, and waited the next day as per the hotel and boat captain's instructions. As of 11am the next day the boat left us behind at the port.

We travel to this resort just to go diving. Is a perfect location as the dive shop is right there and EVERYONE at the dive shop are very nice and friendly, the excursion are very well organized. totally recommended. Food was delicious and the rooms were clean, this hotel is environmentally friendly. so if you are very picky about how they clean. Do not stay here. I did a walk around the island and they are also other good hotels. this one doesn't have a swimming pool but others do have pool and very nice ones. Staff is friendly and the free breakfast is really good. Unfortunately, my purse was stolen from my hotel room. I don't know-how. We have other values, like a laptop but it wasn't stolen, very weird because the place feels a safe area and everyone seems nice. Because of this accident. I will not recommend everyone to stay here.
