Nice place, friendly staf

Nice resort on Malapascua. I had a room without an aircon, wasn't too bad if you open the window. Wi-fi was decent. Bathroom was pretty basic. It's centrally located so not a long walk to get to all areas of the island. I'd stay here again if other options aren't available.

Comfortable

Moonlight resort is a great deal in terms of price to quality. its 10 minutes away from the beach. the rooms are very comfortable and the beds are huge. The staff is amazing, specially Dam Dam. makensure to ask for the AC.

Pretty nice

I booked the cheapest room, because I'm traveling solo and wanted to save money. The room looked good, but as soon as I turned on the shower, mosquitoes stated flying out of the little bucket in the bathroom, and also there we a cockroach. I asked if I could switch into a room with a screen, because I'm probably a little overly concerned about dengue, etc. They told me the only rooms that have screens after the deluxe and other options. So I ended up paying the difference. I thought it would be silly to get dengue because I wanted to save $4 or whatever. The ladies were really nice, but depending on where you're diving, moonlight can be a bit of a hike. Using the air conditioner costs extra. I didn't use it, and the fan was fine. I was mostly only in the room to sleep.

I'dont recommend this hotel at all

Don't get confuse for the price, the standard rooms are very bad, we did an upgrade because was very noisy and not comfortable..... Choose other place.

Cosy room and relaxed atmosphere

Very friendly staff, delicious food. Very clean and cosy room. Cold Shower and low water pressure (like everywhere in Philippines). 10 min walk to the main beach. At night torch is required to find the way (no street lights)

I told them when I checked in some how hotel.com make twice reservatiopn so cancel one they said under stood but rthey charged twice which means double charge

Most pleasant and enjoyable hotel stay!!

The room is big and bed sheets are clean with good running taps, shower and TV with cable. Wifi works well even in my room. The food is awesome with local and western delicacies and the kitchen opens till late in the evening. Its location is just behind the village about 5 -10 mins walk to the bounty beach, I learn the path just after one trip! The resort had landscaping of a beautiful garden. The staffs are nice and friendly and they even when out of their way to get me an adepter from the village when i told them i forgot to bring mine. Overall I would say I'm pleasantly surprised for the most affordable resort i could find on the island. Cheers!!

Nice island but not nice room

Malapasqua island is very nice and the place you should stay is at or near the main beach. Moonlight resort is not so nice situated as you have motorbikes running in front of the resort and also you have to walk 15 min to get to the nice beach and restaurants. There are some good restaurants on the island but not Moonlight. The room was smelly and the Fan/Aircon did not work. Do not expect to much. The positive was that there was warm water to have a shower. Wifi was not working on the island (not only Moonlight) when I was there. The resort is Philippine standard not European although run by an Austrian who I have never seen during my stay.

Hidden from the beach

Moonlight Resort is located quite far away from the beach and on the opposite side of the village where everything is going on at Malapascua. The map doesn't quite show this so the location was to me a surprise. But if you want to stay secluded and quit this is the perfact place.

Safe & Affordable Place to Stay

If you're on a budget then this 5 room resort is for you. It's clean, quite & the resort care-taker is very friendly. The aircon works fine and the wi-fi connection was fine on my iPhone so better stay in the reception area for better connection. This is not a beach-front resort as what Expedia presented when you take a look at the map it says that it's near Ocean Vida Resort in Bounty beach and in reality it's actual farther than Mangrove Oriental Resort almost in the middle of the island. And I was not happy with the continental breakfast that was added on the booking since you only get to eat 2 slices of bread, butter, strawberry jam & a coffee or milo of your choice. I was expecting some egg, cheese, rice & some fruits. But the place is safe and electricity works 24 hours.

No beach front

If you want a relaxing time to lay back and do nothing this is the place. That is about all you can do as it is not close to a beach or anthing else for that matter. Not at all like their web site shows. The ladies in the small restaurant are very nice and pleasant.

Beautiful place

Very clean room, friendly help. Excellent food. The only downside is it is not a beachside resort, but the beach is within walking distance and if you are snorkeling or doing other rentals it does not matter so much anyhow.

コンセントの規格が250Vと記載あり

マヤ港からマラパスクアに到着して、徒歩約15分でした。スーツケースを持って歩いたのでかなり大変でした。いざチェックインをして部屋に案内されましたが、部屋まで長い階段が待ってました。ハンガーがないので少し不便です。部屋の中はトイレと風呂場が分かれてましたが窓が閉まらず虫がたくさん入っていて、シャワーには5センチ程のクモがいました。シャワーは温水はでません。天井にファンと扇風機はあったがエアコンは無し。あとコンセントの規格が250Vと書いてあり、標準の携帯電話の対応充電器は240Vまで。変圧器が必要かと。フィリピンは220Vまでだと思っていました。

Okey hotel, a short way from bounty beach.

helpfull staff and okey room. Very spacious and quite close to restaurants and beach. We had a great time! Room could use some improvments like new pillows, sheets and towels. Also quite a few plumbing details were falling apart and would benifit from repairs.
