The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for a vacation stay. Short drive to many attractions in the area. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Carmen was a wonderful host. Very friendly! She thought of everything to make the cabin feel like home!

First trip to the Dakotas!!

The stay was excellent, Carmen and her husband Jim are very welcoming. Cooper their dog was a sweetheart and visited almost every day at some point. The cabin had everything that we needed for our stay and we really enjoyed the outdoor country stay. I would highly recommend staying with them.

Peaceful retreat in South Dakota

We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful surroundings and wildlife. The hosts are amazing and we had a great time visiting with them. Close enough to Custer State Park to drive in every day to see and enjoy the sites in the Black Hills area and come back for a relaxing evening.

The cabin was spectacular and a great location.... minutes from Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. The cabin had all the comforts of home.... the hosts were very good and gave us great information about things to do and see in the area. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the day fade to evening....

Beautiful location!

We had a great time staying at Bison Pines! Jim, Carmen and their puppy, Cooper :) were so welcoming and helpful! This location is perfectly central to seeing sites in the area but then having a quiet and peaceful place to come back to! The cabin has ALL the essentials…everything you need and then some. We loved our visit and would very highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Bison Pines! Carmen and Jim are excellent hosts. The cabin was clean, the bed was comfortable and Carmen provided all amenities and then some! We definitely recommend Bison Pines if you are planning a trip to the area.

Absolutely Wonderful

Loved the location. Very peaceful and beautiful view. Cabin is exceptionally well stocked. Cooper was such a sweetie coming to visit for belly rubs and kisses. Enjoyed speaking with Carmen very personable and gave great suggestions for the area.

Amazing Place!

Our trip to Bison Pi es was amazing! Location was great-out of the way but still close enough to everything. We were wandering the Black Hills in minutes. The stay was great and the hosts were amazing! The place had everything we needed during our trip. Can’t wait return again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bison Pines. Super neat, clean place and it was more spacious than we anticipated. The host was great to work with and made our stay extra special. I’m confident we will be back to stay at Bison Pines again in the future.

Perfect peace

Spent a week taking in all that the black hills area had to offer. This was better than coming home every day. Such a peaceful setting with more than we could have needed. We fixed breakfast and dinner there every day and packed lunch for most days out. Well exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean.
