The house was very cute, comfortable, and clean with all the amenities you could want. The porch was great for overlooking the view. Dropping in kayaks was easy and so great to be able to do right at the property. We had a great campfire on the last night. Very relaxing time. Oh, and we can't forget the local dog who visited daily! She is SUPER sweet and friendly and was a fun addition!

Beautiful secluded spot. We hoped to ride bikes more but the main road doesn’t have a sidewalk and can be a bit busy, however, we found some great trails and parks. Takes about 30 min to get anywhere because of how tucked away you are but that was also one of the best things about it. Awesome kayaking, decent fishing and I’m sure would be much better if we had been a few weeks earlier. Owners are absolutely wonderful and super helpful!!

The location was perfect, quiet and serene. The house was spacious, clean and having the use of Kayaks was a big plus. There’s a friendly dog “Honey”that visited us daily and being dog lovers we greatly enjoyed her company. There’s a good selection of restaurants in the Crystal River and Homosassa areas and lots of Manatees at Three Sisters Springs. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back.

The home was perfect for my needs! Beautiful home on a beautiful property. The canal is right behind the house. The kayak launch is easy to use. You can't access the Gulf from the canal, so don't expect to bring a large boat right up to the property. There's no dock as the canal is pretty shallow. Fishing and crabbing is absolutely doable and I highly recommend this home for a relaxing trip for nature lovers!

Place was well cleaned upon arrival. This is our third visit here - we love the area. It’s in an off the grid type of location for Florida so yes no see-ums and other critters are out there. But I think over my time in Florida I’ve become immune to the no see-ums. Did some kayaking, fishing and enjoyed our holiday in Ozello and had some really beautiful weather. Look forward to a return trip.

The owner was quick to response to any issues, such as when the Netflix when off. The place is quiet and peaceful. We stayed a month, and I certainly wasn't ready to go home. We caught more fish than ever before and all kinds. They may not have been large but there was plenty. Going kayaking was heavenly, so much nature. The community of Ozello are so welcoming. Renters beware-this rental at Yurchin Point, Crystal River deserves one star. The neighborhood felt unsafe, the dishwasher was broken, the dryer door wouldn’t stay shut, and the refrigerator door kept popping open, ruining all our food. To top it off, the caretakers next door stared at us through their windows the entire time, giving us a really creepy feeling

Stargazing and Springs

A beautiful home, well organized with easy check in process. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Well stocked with linens and towels. Excellent water pressure and a wonderful laundry room. Great layout for family games and movie night. The best kept secret was stargazing. Truly dark skies. Easy trips to Crystal River and the Three Sister Springs. We had so much fun exploring the area and really appreciated the use of their cooler. The house is more beautiful than pictured. The Ozello Trail road was fun to drive and the area is stunning and untouched.

Peaceful isolation

This property is as described. Very isolated, surrounded by nature. It was exactly what we wanted. Plenty of stores and restaurants within 15-20 minute drive as well as touristy things to do and beaches/springs to visit.Our dogs were very happy here, too!Everything you need, inside and outside, is provided. Just be sure to be prepared for mosquitoes and other water-loving summertime insects depending on the time of year you visit. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great getaway

We loved it here. Plenty of peace and quiet. Kayaking was easy and nature was abundant. A turtle came up in the yard and laid her eggs. I recommend eating at Blackwater Fins and The Crab Plant. Both have great seafood. If you go air boating do the Ozello Boats just up the road. The locals were all helpful and very nice. Peacocks all around.
