The Space:

Alamanda Estate is a private tropical retreat set on five acres, offering peace, privacy and breathtaking views across the cane fields to the Coral Sea, just a 5-minute drive from the heart of Port Douglas.

Designed for effortless indoor-outdoor living, the light-filled main residence features open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas that open onto expansive wraparound decks. Multiple outdoor entertaining spaces invite you to relax with your morning coffee, enjoy long alfresco lunches or unwind with sunset drinks while taking in the stunning outlook.

The estate comprises a beautifully appointed main cottage and a separate private retreat, providing the perfect balance of togetherness and privacy for couples, families or friends travelling together. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms across the property, there's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space.

Outside is where Alamanda Estate truly comes to life. Cool off in the stunning infinity pool overlooking the Coral Sea, gather around the wood-fired pizza oven for relaxed evenings, or enjoy stargazing beside the fire pit. The covered poolside cabana provides a peaceful place to read, dine or simply soak up the tropical surroundings. All outdoor areas are exclusively yours during your stay.

Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the estate, including the main cottage, wraparound decks, infinity pool, poolside cabana, landscaped gardens, fire pit and wood-fired pizza oven.

Bookings for up to 4 guests include the main cottage, which sleeps four. If you'd like to accommodate additional guests or enjoy the extra privacy of the separate retreat, it can be added to your booking for an additional fee.

The property is entirely private and is never shared with other guests during your stay.

Getting Around:

A vehicle is recommended to make the most of your stay at Alamanda Estate. The property is just a 5-minute drive (approximately 5km) from the heart of Port Douglas, where you'll find award-winning restaurants, cafés, boutiques, supermarkets and Four Mile Beach.

With your own car, it's easy to explore the region, including Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation and local beaches. Complimentary on-site parking is provided. Taxi, rideshare and shuttle services are also available, although having a vehicle offers the greatest flexibility during your stay.

Alamanda Estate is set in a peaceful hinterland location, offering privacy and space just a short drive from Port Douglas. We ask that guests respect the quiet nature of the property and surrounding environment during their stay.

The estate offers beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, making it ideal for entertaining and special gatherings. Intimate events or small weddings may be considered by prior arrangement, with additional fees applicable. All events must be coordinated through Uptown Hire or Port Douglas Weddings & Events to ensure a seamless experience.

Bookings of up to 4 guests include use of the main residence (cottage). Access to additional bedrooms and the separate private retreat can be arranged for larger groups or guests requiring extra space, with additional fees applicable. Please confirm guest numbers prior to arrival so the property can be prepared accordingly.

This is a self-contained holiday home and is not serviced daily. Starter amenities are provided to get your stay underway, with additional supplies available locally.

Due to the tropical climate, insects and wildlife may be present despite regular pest control.

Guests are personally welcomed on arrival with a brief meet and greet to ensure a smooth check-in and to run through the property, layout and house guidelines.
