We stay here one to two times a year while visiting family in the area. It is normally clean and quiet and we are not disappointed. Our only complaint this time was that the 3rd floor corridor smelled like "pot." We mentioned this to the front desk staff as we checked out. If guests are going to ignore the no-smoking policy, there is not a lot the proprietor can do unless they are made aware of the problem. We sure hope they figured out who it was, charged them for getting rid of the odor, and evicted them.

Everything was fine, but it was very very loud. We had trouble actually resting. Lots of guest were running the halls. This seems to be a repeat thing maybe thin walls and floors? Overall staff was great and breakfast was perfect for my son!

I like this hotel. I stay here often,however,you (hotels.com/expedia) changed my room type without my permission or request.I had to reduce the number of nights for my stay. When I requested this,you did so and reunded me for the other nights,what I did not realize is that you took it upon yourselves to change the type of room I would be staying in. This was completely unacceptable. I tried to have the situation corrected by contacting you on the computer and by speaking with an agent on the phone. Their idea of a solution was for me to pay more for the room I had originally contracted for and paid for. I NEVER requested a room type change!! Trusting baby boomer that I am I assumed you had carried out my wishes. Your agent just kept telling me I should have double checked!! You all made a change I never asked for and it’s my fault for believing you had done your jobs. My mistake,if something can’t be done to rectify this situation,I’ll be looking to make my travel arrangements elsewhere!

I always stay here on my frequent trips to Cincinnati area. Great location, clean, quiet hotel. I always give a good rating. Unfortunately, this time I cannot. I know a lot of this is out of the control of the hotel and staff, and their job is to fill rooms. I stayed 2 nights. The first night was the usual quiet evening, clean room, easy check in. Sometime during the day on the second day they decided to book almost the entire second floor, my floor, with what appeared to be a high school or youth group. I arrived back at the hotel late the second evening around 10 pm to multiple teenagers in the hallway, talking, yelling, even running. I retired to my room, and the room next to mine had multiple teens in it, that carried on and made noise until about 4am. I had to get up at 6 am and drive. like I said, I know this in a sense is out of the control of the hotel, but a tough night, nonetheless. I don't know if the group could have been spread out throughout the hotel. This is a great hotel, and always where I stay, but not happy this past stay.
