We had a great stay! The location is perfect and the staff were all wonderful. We walked to lunch, activities at the Hotel Del. It was a mile from where my son was playing soccer. So convenient to everything we had to do. Our kids loves taking the shuttle to the Loews Hotel. They enjoyed the cinnamon rolls in the morning and the coffee! We will definitely stay again next year for the Holiday Cup!

Inexpensive option in prime location. Rooms are dated but comfortable. Ac worked great. Fridge was not as cold as I hoped for. Addressed it to front desk at check out. What was concerning was the morning we checked out we saw a cockroach by the coffee maker. Took a photo and showed the front desk manager. He insisted it was a water bug. I humored him and smiled but I think this will be our last stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Coronado Beach Resort! The location is unbeatable — just a block from a gorgeous beach and close to everything in San Diego. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the amenities are fantastic: beach wagons, chairs, umbrellas, pool, ping pong, board games, DVD rentals, and even Ms. Cody, the resident parrot who greets you in the lobby. The rooftop BBQs, hot tub, and sauna with sunset views were highlights of our stay. We didn’t realize until we arrived that it’s a timeshare property, but there was no sales pitch at all — just a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Many guests are longtime regulars who clearly know each other and the staff, which adds to the welcoming, community feel. We’re not owners, but we felt completely at home here. It’s a true gem — we’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Coronado!

The best thing about Coronado Beach Resort is the location. You can walk to a lot of great spots on Coronado. The worst thing is that the elevator isn’t working and it will take six to nine months to replace. It’s a stretch to call it a resort. But you can take a free shuttle to Lowe’s Resort and use their great pools and gym. I booked through Expedia and ended up with a room with a pull down bed. It was uncomfortable. The next day we found out you could request a mattress topper and extra pillows and that helped out a lot. They also offer free beach cruiser bikes. Montana and Pearl were working the front desk and they are delightful.

Perfect location....we could walk all of Coranado....Right across stree from The Del...Room excellent with mini kitchen and living room. The added benefit of pool/spa access right down the street at the sister property was awesome.
