Staff was great, breakfast was decent, room was fine. No communication on website when booking, at counter or anywhere that pool was under reconstruction. Out of all the hotels in that are we stayed with Hilton cause we enjoy them and we wanted to enjoy the pool. If I hadn’t prepaid I would have left and got another hotel. If a major amenity is down especially during the holidays lets you guest know so they can decide if they still want to go to your hotel.

My shower was dirty. There was hair in the shower and it just didn’t look clean. I couldn’t get my blinds to fully close and it was really hot in my room even after I adjusted the temperature on the heater. It seemed like it was just running until I shut it off. Also I chose the hotel because of the pool. My kids were disappointed to find it closed. Wish I could’ve got some type of notice of that when booking.

The room was clean but that is about the only positive. We could hear EVERYTHING going on around us. At 4:30 am we could hear a dripping sound that lasted for an hour. They were doing construction on a hotel at least 300 yards away and we heard every swing of the hammers. We barely got any sleep. Then we go to get breakfast and they had a small pot of eggs and a few pieces of sausage. Then I had to take a shower with a bath towel because we did not have any washclothes in the room. We will not stay at Tru again. Not our first stay at Tru with complaints

The rooms were very spacious for the three of us. The bathrooms were clean. No closet, but pegs on the wall with hangers, so it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was perfect, and everything that is needed (including really good apples and bananas that weren’t green!) the lobby had a pool table, board and card games, and lots of fun chairs to hang out. Hot tub was under construction, which was a bummer, but everything else was wonderful!
