The listing for this property accurately reflects what we found on check-in. It was very comfortable for 2 people. The communications with the host were excellent - I had several questions that came up along the way and the answers were always prompt. Access to the beach is easy, but this isn't a beachfront property. The beach is across the street from the complex (the unit is in the middle of the complex) and behind dunes. The beach is wide and flat and wonderful for long walks in both directions. We stayed in April and did not find a lot of restaurant choices open nearby. That could have been due to the time of year (off season). We found the #5 bus (stop about 3 blocks away) got us into the city center in 20'ish minutes with many dining choices. And, the Woolworths (grocery) store was just a block or two away. If we return to New Zealand and Christchurch, we'd stay again.

Great place to stay, the space was clean and had everything we needed. The location is convenient as well and is within walking distance of the beach, grocery store, and restaurants. There was limited parking on Marine Parade when we stayed there as there was construction going on, however we were always able to find a parking spot on the next block over (Lonsdale Ave.) Would definitely stay here again if I were in Christchurch.

Really nice location across the street from New Brighton beach, Although advertised as one bed they converted the sofa on the main floor into a bed for minimal upcharge and it was ready when we arrived.

The accommodation was clean, fresh and comfortable. I would of loved an ocean view but it was nice to hear the ocean. Parking was a bit of a challenge as there were extensive road works but we managed. One of the great things was the electronic lock which ment you didnt have the hassle of having a key. We would stay there agin.

Home Away From Home

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. It started with excellent communications from the rental team. The apartment came as promised, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It’s definitely worth visiting there again.

Just lovely!

Sad to have not been able to stay longer. The property itself is perfectly set up, tidy with just the right amount of amenities. The location is a hop, skip and jump from the beach, and has nearby grocery stores. Paula was a great help and fabulous with keeping in touch about our reservation. If I'm ever back in Christchurch I will definitely book again!

No wifi. Was sent an email regarding the booking saying there would be a book on the table with details of the place and wifi connection. When we arrived there was no book on the table , so I contacted someone who txt me the details for the wifi connection and still NO Wifi?
