Staff was amazing and found us a different room because we thought we were in a different suite. Beautiful weather and scenery were the ideal autumn. The hot springs are soothing and relaxing, and I feel so much better mentally, physically, and emotionally. Sammy, the door valet, was incredible, and the person who checked us in made us feel special and took care of all our needs. Thank you! Will be back.

Room is clean, staff are very nice and helpful when we asked teapot and hot water, beautiful place for relaxing and families gatherings. one suggestion is that main hotel may need renovation for better quality. Thank you so much for your service.

The room was gross, smelled like someone smoked cigarettes there every day. The pillow had a big yellow stain, carpets needed to be ripped out years ago. Felt like a cheap motel, disappointing for how much it costs per night

We stayed in the hotel as a big group. Waited 2 hours for our house/pool robes. We were told that they will come in half an hour. Robes should be in the rooms. Dirty with leaves around the pool. No pool umbrellas to place our towels, and shoes to keep them dry from rain. For the amount you pay for a night, not worth it! Expensive and overrated! We want to support local hotels but not happy in our overall stay.

I stayed in the main hotel, it is a super old building so that it smells very bad. Really humid in the room, I think I got the worst room which is located at the cover of a facility, not sure because it was the cheapest price on Expedia. The customer service was terrible, a staff hung up the phone twice during the conversation to get some information, gave us totally wrong information. When I got the reception to complain about that, another one looked like he doesn’t care what happened or something happened, he stood up finally when I asked apologising from the staff. The manger came out of the office with another staff, and listened to our complaints, they looked like they knew the situation and they were the staff who got our phone calls, but served us while pretending not to know. They may be not them, anyway who accepts that kind of customer treatment? It seems like, because this hotel is the only one for the hot spring, the staff don’t care about the customer service. Even though they’re doing worse, people keep coming. And also, indoor pool is only for adults but there were many kids, no one controlled and kids dived and screamed. Just head up, if you’re looking for relaxing and expecting a good customer service, this is not the right one.

We were put in room 335 in the heritage building. The washroom has a half step elevation that isn’t clearly identified. I tripped on it and twisted my ankle to the point where I couldn’t walk. No assistance was offered by the hotel staff, just a shrug.

We have stayed here often. The last few times the service has been very rude, to the point we felt uncomfortable. Both my partner and I spent $150 on dinner at The Copper Room and both ended up with food poisoning. When I e-mailed the hotel about it, I received no response.
