Do not be fooled by the 8.2 rating as we were. This is not an 8.2/10. It is a dump. The only thing it has going for it is the location across from the beach. The motel is aged, dated, moldy, and falling apart.

We really like the pet/smoking area where we could relax outside. It is so close to the beach and restaurants. The room had a stove element, plates, cutlery. The only thing I would add is a drip coffee maker.

I gave it this rating because I believe that you get what you pay for, and their rate was fairly reasonable. That said, the bathroom top door hinge let go the first time we opened it. We reported it right away, but it wasn't looked at (we did only stay one night though). We had to lift the door off the floor to open it, and it couldn't be closed properly. The coffee or creamer was undrinkable...possibly was just really old. The motel was surrounded by upscale shops and restaurants, and was right across the street from the towns busy tourist view. Sadly, we did not have time to EBH the hot springs.

For the price, this was an excellent value. Super convenient location, 15% off at the next door restaurants with a great burger and fries and ice cream, clean room, and a fantastic bed. Would def stay here again.

The room wasn’t very nice There was nothing here for y amount of money spent. It was very expensive for a poor quality area. The rooms weren’t overly clean and overpriced. There was no complimentary breakfast .

We were pleased with the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated having a substantial mini-fridge to store our fresh food, water, etc. The TV enabled me to watch an important Blue Jays game! A 15% discount at two restaurants on the street in front of the motel was an added bonus. We were also glad to have an an outside area for our propane camping stove.

The stairs to our room were a little much for our age but once we made it up the stairs with our stuff the room was clean and pleasant. Nice and quiet overnight as well.

The coffee shop and restaurant are great features. The motel courtyard is shabby-looking and gives the impression of neglect. The room was very tiny, but clean and everything was in good working order. People sat outside in the courtyard late into the night drinking and being noisy. Two people started shouting at each other at around 3am.

Great location. Staff were excellent. Basic but clean and comfortable. We needed to leave our car parked after checkout, and not a problem at all. Great restaurant right outside the front, and nice to get 15% off if staying at the hotel. Would stay there again
