We've stayed at the Harrison Lake Hotel six times in the past three years. While the hotel has seen better days, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and the hotel has a good location just one block from the lake.

Deceiving pics and description. Not worth the stay
Hotel was not well maintained. It looked like they were in the process of renovating though. Tape at the room threshold to hold carpet down. No pictures or mirrors in room. Middle courtyard dirty with 2 bird nests and much bird waste. Middle fountain water so green and dirty we didn’t know there were Koi fish in it until our third day there. Restaurant on site closed. No pool on site. No services available at all. No place to fill up water bottles on scorching summer days. We were given a paper cup to utilize the sink in the bathroom to fill our bottles. Rooms basic, but fairly clean. Beds comfortable. AC worked well. No closet or hanging space in rooms. Small fridge and microwave, coffee maker. Top half of all the plug ins in the room didn’t work. Mold in the calling of the tub/shower. We were there for 4 nights and not once did housekeeping come up to freshen up the room, replenish coffee supplies or remove garbage. Front desk staff often on their phones and disengaged. We didn’t request anything except shampoo which they promptly brought up though. For almost $200/night I would expect a freshening up of the room at least every two days. Location was excellent. Very walkable. Has the potential to be a really great place to stay but needs a lot of maintenance/cleaning and possibly more engaged staff and/or management. Unfortunately I won’t stay here again. There are multiple other options available.

This property is in horrible condition. Spend some money people. 4 different room changes and not one was acceptable. Finally left to stay the night at another hotel.

This hotel is run down and not well maintained. Carpets are dirty, fluorescent ballasts blinking, smoke alarm tweeting in hall, bathtub needs deglazing. Generally just really run down.

The hotel is woefully in need of repairs and remodel, the pictures do not properlyrepresentthis roach motel. One of our rooms the bed frame was broken and when you got into bed it broke and you rolled out. The hotel, less the reception area, stunk. The sheets appeared clean but the rest of the room was gross. We slept in our clothes and left early the next day.
