The beds are comfortable here which makes it better than many hotels in Chiang Rai. But 3 stars off for this visit because although check-out time is 12 PM, the maid tried to enter my room twice at 9AM while I was sleeping even though the Do Not Disturb Sign was on the door handle. Thankfully they can’t enter the room when the deadbolt and chain are engaged. But that’s not the way I want to wake up in the morning. Rule #1 for all hotels is to stay out of the room when the Do Not Disturb Sign is on the door handle. Otherwise it breaks the trust between hotel and guest.

: The check-in staff, café, and restaurant team are all incredibly friendly and offer excellent service. While the property is showing signs of age, the lobby and restaurant are well-kept and quite impressive. It's on the upper floors where the building’s age is more noticeable. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained, though there was some mold in the shower. As for the location, it’s not ideal—there’s not much around. It’s best to rent a motorcycle or scooter from the front desk and explore the area that way. Overall good stay, But I do not agree with Expedia's 4 star rating.

Great weekend getaway

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, about 6-7 min drive from downtown, very clean & spacious room. Bed was somewhat lummpy. Pool was freezing. Bathroom floor would get quite wet after shower use due yo no door. Buffet breakfast was just ok as it was the same for 3 mornings, not too much western food.

Nice big hotel next to the convention center, the vibe of the hotel is a bit low most spaces were empty but overall it was really good. We only stayed one night to go to white te olé and it was worth the visit

There were no complementary water bottles available, which is a standard for any other hotel in the world. We used one water bottle available in the fridge for which they charged. But when asked, we were told they are not free but later sent two drinking water in glass bottles. I had a time in trying to the reception staff in the night , she was saying couldn’t understand me over the phone. I had to walk down to the reception with the water bottle from the mini fridge, to ask whether that is chargeable. I can’t be blamed for her lack of English knowledge. In general I found reception staff were cold. No smile in the face. But, other staff including cleaning staff were very courteous. Hotel is situated about 3.5km away from the city centre. Every time I went to the town I had to take a GRAB taxi or a tuk tuk, which cost me 80 Bhat one way

We enjoyed our stay generally. The room was comfortable and we were happy to have hot water with good water pressure. Our only issue, which was minor, was the minibar. There was no clear signage about what was included in the mini bar and not. This was our final stay in Thailand and every accommodation, including hostels, provided water. So having water counted in the “mini bar” charges was a little crazy. If you’re going to have a minibar, have it clear. As well, upon checkout reception had housekeeping check each room before you could go to see if you used the mini bar. Just seemed like something that wasn’t thought out fully as a money grab. Overall, we liked our stay and would stay again.
