The Grand Wipanan is a good hotel... Its cheap and is good value for money.. The rooms are good... Its in a good area with good market food 150meters away..

Thorougly enjoyed the 6 day stay!

The staff was fantastic! The room was spacious and very clean. The only negatives are the location of the TV and no hot water for the bath room sink. Aside from that, an excellent stay. From the balcony the view of the mountains and the city was wonderful. The breakfast was minimal but who goes to Thailand for breakfast 😊. We would definitely stay there again.

Super value: large clean room with TV area with sofa and many cable channels, kitchenette, bicycles for use, good breakfast. Not in a good restaurant zone, but with refrigerator and microwave could bring food back for the evening. Easy bicycle ride to the tourist area and only a short walk to Adam’s Apple.

About my 6th stay here, always perfect, great staff, had the 1 bedroom suite which was great. Everything was perfect as usual. Hotel has a laundry dryer which is so good 30 b each machine. Breakfast very basic but sufficient. The pool is nice but the water cold as it gets next to no sun.Wipanan is located near a main road and Tanin msrket where you can buy cooked foods and fruits. A 7/11 is nearby. Wipanan is my home away from home. Transport is not fantadtic this area, better if you have a bike or you msy be waiting a while. Highly recommended.

Feels like home

I really enjoyed this hotel! The reception and restaurant staff were all very friendly. We had to adjust our stay a couple of times and they never made it seem like a big hassle. The studio was spacious. The bathroom was very clean. The mattress was wonderful which is hard to come by for this price in thailand. We even had a little balcony that was a pleasant surprise with a great view of Chiang Mai. The pool looked good too but we didn’t have time to swim. I love the kitchen area with everything you need for a comfy stay. Already have plans to come stay again in a few months.

I’ll be back!

I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was a surprisingly large amount of food and in my opinion the Thai options were tastier, but they offer American options as well. We booked a studio and it was very spacious. Had a great mini kitchen with microwave, sink, and mid size fridge. Just beware of leaving food out because they have some ants. But when there was no food out there was no problem. There is a little couch in the “living room” area which was comfy to sit and watch movies... and I was very happy to find English channels available. We’ve stayed in plenty of hotels in thailand over the years and for the price this place is excellent. It’s about 2 km out of the old city which I prefer because it’s much less crowded and hectic. But it’s just a 15 min walk or 30 baht red truck ride away. There are plenty of places nearby to eat and buy snacks right around the hotel. Pool was large and clean even though we didn’t swim. But if the weather is hotter next time I plan on doing that.

Good hotel with nice staffs!

This hotel is in a quiet, but great neighborhood. The staffs are nice and friendly. The rooms were nice in general, but some (not all) rooms were infected by ants. Other than this, this is a great hotel.

Breakfast good, like the large room size, service ok. Location is good and covered parking is good. Hope that the hotel can change their towels, they are old and almost in grey colours and with holes. The most disappointed part is the swimming pool as I booked it because of the indoor swimming pool, but they did not maintain it as the water is dirty and cold.

Modern and Clean

Clean, comfortable, modern, nice staff. Pool small and only cardio equipment in their "gym-" no free weights. Absolutely NOTHING in the neighborhood to cater to tourists and a good distance from ANY of the sights. 300Baht deposit per key.

위치가 너무 좋아요. 코앞에 로컬 재래시장도 있고 early owls 카페도 너무 가깝고 맛집도 너무 많아요. 찡짜이 마켓도 멀지 읺이서 신책삼아 몇번이나 다녀 왔네요. 올드티운까지도 걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리. 직원분들도 친절하고 요청사항 대응도 빨라요. 이번에 힌딜살이 하면서 여기서 2주 묵었는데 대만족입니다~^^ 담에 한달살이 또 오면 재숙박예정입니다~~
