We had a fantastic stay- this is one of the best homestay experiences I’ve had. Everything was super clean, cute, easy, and exactly as advertised. The owner and hosting team were pleasant, helpful and professional, and the check in and check out process went smoothly. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Charleston!

Girl’s Trip!

Met our needs

We were happy to find a rental for graduation weekend that met our needs of 2 bedrooms and on site parking. Bonus that the unit had a washer and dryer. The house definitely seems historic and there is some chipped paint inside. The main bedroom door is very loud which can be a concern with a sleeping baby. There were renters upstairs and when they were around you could hear a ton, from footsteps to voices and music even though they weren’t being excessively loud at all. The road noise can be loud at times as it’s on a fairly main road with the master bedroom facing the street. It wouldn’t be my first choice of properties for families, but we all managed to get some sleep and the location was otherwise convenient for getting around town. The porch is a nice place to relax. We appreciated the dish soap and laundry detergent provided.

Charleston was SO fun!

We really enjoyed our stay at King in Five, Suite A. The property was clean, welcoming and well equipped. We liked the idea of staying in a true "Charleston Single" and being able to walk to town. We walked for bagels, ice cream, shopping, and biscuits. We walked to the DASH stop, which made it easy to cruise around town for free. We got off at the Pineapple fountain for some sun and gelato and walked to the City Market for lunch on an outdoor patio. We did walk to the College of Charleston and further down on King Street and the walk was a little far, but we got our steps in. We felt very safe the entire time; at the home and in town. The medical college is close, so you will hear helicopters at night and people walking/talking on the street, but it really felt like you were a part of the city. Overall, the neighborhood was quiet and very family friendly. Publix was a short drive for groceries. Would love to visit Charleston again and stay at the King in Five!

Conveniently located

This property was such a wonderful spot to be in. We weren't too far away and it had such charm. It was so nice to have a well kept parking area in the back as well. We felt safe and comfy during our stay. Thank you!

Stay Duvet was excellent. Quick to respond. Wish they had blinds or shades on side window panels of front door. (Right across from bathroom, abut awkward).Overall, we had a great stay. Beds are very comfortable! Ty!

Construction Affected Parking

Nice unit but construction on a unit behind ours had construction vehicles in the parking area all day. Always moved their trucks when asked but still a little bit of a hassle that we didn’t count on. The management company would have them move when asked but this certainly was not in the description as going on when we rented.

Charming Charleston Rental

Spotless, historic and beautiful!

A wonderful property that has been beautifully renovated! Neighborhood is very nice and walkable to King St. It’s a pretty long walk to the historic downtown area, especially if you spend the day walking (then you still have to walk back!) so I did drive to a parking garage near Meeting St. each day. Loved having parking right in back where I could just pull up, unload, and come and go. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect size

Stayed at this site with my spouse and 2 toddlers. They had a blast and enjoyed the access to netflix on the smart tvs. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and basic spices, so i could make easy meals for the kids. I was also pleased that laundry and detergent were in the unit - very helpful when traveling with tots. There were multiple restaurants in easy walking distance - exactly what i was hoping for with the kids.

Super cute

Very comfy beds. Super cute apartment. Parking lot made it easy. We felt safe. Uber downtown was a quick 5 minutes. You can walk it, but its 20mins plus but several super close eating spots. Very clean.
