Hotel Catedral
4/5 Good
"I just toured Mexico from Puerto Vallarta to Mexico City - using several modes of transportation, (the big luxury buses are wonderful) - Staying in 8 cities during the tour. I really liked Guanajato, fascinating history and city. Worth a Trip There. We stayed in 2 different Hotels that had Wooden Bed Frames that were much larger than the mattresses, so provided an opportunity to run into the frame and lay my leg wide open. Avoid these hotels - That ruined 2 days of my sight seeing. ( take all these items mentioned with you, then you will have them). (I discovered that No Hotels in Mexico supply "Wash Cloths"??? Most do not have Cream Rinse - only Shampoo and Lotion. Take your own hair and bath products. Most do not provide Coffee makers, bring an electric hot water dip stick, sold all over + at Amazon, take your own instant coffee and tea, + a mug for the coffee. "All" hotels offer 2 bottles of water, which is wonderful for making coffee or tea, or just drinking. Final stop was Mexico City and staying at Hotel Catedral, which is a lovely hotel, built over a Pyramid and right across from the Cathedral. The Staff was most accommodating and they have Bell Hops to move your luggage to your room - plus a luggage storage area. The Hotel Catedral had a coffee make and purified water + the 2 bottles of water., which was nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip through Mexico and staying at the Hotel Catedral."
