A Gem. Great location.

The hotel was a little hard to find as we arrived late at night. The location was superb. There is no lift but not much of a problem for us. Might be a problem for others. A usual for Mexico, no fridge. The breakfast was nice. The staff were excellent and super friendly

Friendly receptionist lady on front. 

The receptionists opened the door and opened the security-locked main door. She showed all the facilities check-in and out times. Soon after, she showed me the room. Big, spacious room but not AC; there is a fan that helps for the hot sunny days that Mexico City offers. The bed was comfortable, the fan helps to cool down while sleeping, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. What I liked the most about this hotel was the location (Zocalo area) and the friendly laddie receptionist, cleaning, and in charge of the breakfast morning cooking and display. There are other employees, but she decently gives the Mexican fiendly welcome and goodbye to guests. I can remember her name. Please, she is a keeper. If you don't mind that the rooms do not have AC, this is a great place to stay.

I booked an all inclusive hotel airfare package and received Hostel accommodations. The picture I saw definitely are deceiving. The room was tiny - NO AIR-CONDITIONING (temp in the room were never under 83 degrees - no amenities besides a small round bath sope & body wash & shampoo dispensers that were just about empty - No reception - Front Door is always locked - a key is given to each guest - We arrived at 4am and had to ring a doorbell a few times before a guy opened the door and told us we had to wait till 3pm for our room, so we tried to sleep in the living room area and make time. I will never stay there again and I am beyond disappointed by the “Hotel “ which Expedia depicted as a 4.8 stars and it was a HOSTEL !
