Spotless rooms, piping hot showers and a gorgeous view of the ocean while eating a delicious cooked breakfast. I had a lovely time staying at Magellans Hotel. A big thank you to the kind and helpful staff, who were bravely chasing off a troop of baboons as I arrived!

Great location and staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, we had a sea view from our room and it was spectacular. Be warned it is a hilly hike up from town, so a vehicle is required. Parking at the front of the hotel is limited to 4 spots.

Not what I expected

As a women traveling alone this hotel was not thr best idea. The hotel is more like a house that was turned into a hotel. The lift is only for luggage so if you have a problem with stairs then dont select this hotel. If you are a women traveling alone I wouldnt recommend this hotel.

Great stay

This was a wonderful stay, it's not really a hotel but more like a private home with bedrooms. My king size bedroom was on the 3rd floor with a balcony that you could see the harbor from, the room was very big & All the comforts of home. The breakfast in the morning was very good, typical English type. The staff was very friendly & helpful. I give it 5 stars.

There was no hairdryer in the room - and the coffee in the room was terrible. For that price we paid at least put nice coffee in the room maybe a rusk or two. the breakfast was delicious

This hotel has a terrific view of the ocean. The hotel has once been a 4-5 star hotel, but the new owner, is not keeping up this standard, which is a shame, as the staff is so nice and they are trying to do their best. The hotel needs some special care.

景色が良く静かな場所だけど、、、

高台の住宅街に位置し、景色が良く、都市の喧騒から離れるには良い場所です。周囲にお店やレストランなども徒歩距離ではアクセスは厳しいので、レンタカーなど車がなければアクセスは難しいです。また喜望峰に行くには、時間もかかからず、大変アクセスは良いのですが、逆にテーブルマウンテンやケープタウン中心部までは車で1時間程度かかります。 残念な点を挙げれば、24時間スタッフがいる雰囲気ではないので、色々困りました。部屋にドライヤーがなく、スタッフに伝えても、そのまま対応されずに終わったこと、また問い合わせの連絡先が内線がないので、電話連絡先に電話しても繋がらなかったことです。

Ny ägare som inte riktigt förstår sig på hur Guest house fungerar. Personalen som följde med från tidigare ägare gör att det fungerar. De är mycket hjälpsamma Otrolig utsikt från den gemensamma terassen
