Upon arriving, we found out the pool was closed, which was the only reason we had booked this hotel. We decided to cancel our reservation, not check in, and go elsewhere. Since we booked through Expedia, staff told us we had to request a refund through them. Expedia had not refunded us because they cannot get in touch with anyone at the hotel to confirm that we didn't check in therefore we are just out our money, even though staff had said she "approved our request" while we were there. I've also tried calling multiple times and each time I hit the number to send me to the front desk, the phone hangs up.
Poor communication and honestly the whole situation was sketchy and the hotel looked torn up inside in different places.
