"Reception staff were very friendly and informative regarding the local area.
However the room was unbearably hot.
The heating was on full and could not be turned down which the night manager was aware of prior to our stay.
He tried to turn it down with pliers but was unsuccessful so we had no sleep as an alternative room was unavailable.
This was a huge disappointment as it was a birthday and anniversary weekend.
An alternative room was found the next day.
We were given a small refund of 15% which didn’t reflect our spoilt stay."
