StudioRes by Marriott Mesa Gateway Airport

4/5 Good

"Our room was directly across from the elevator, so we had to listen to people as they used it...at 1 a.m. We were assigned an ADA-compliant room when we didn't request it. Bed, shelving over kitchenette were lowered to accommodate...we survived. The walls with adjacent rooms lack adequate sound dampening. We heard our neighbor sneezing, blowing his nose, and...whatever...in the early morning. (He seemed to be on a phone call and was speaking loudly.) The room doesn't have a hair dryer. You need to ask for it at the front desk. I wish I could have tested the Wi-Fi, but the Marriott Bonvoy installed on my phone wouldn't work (out of date) and the version available in the app store isn't compatible with my phone. Nice work, Marriott! (And I'm a member!) Finally, no shuttle to the airport. On the other hand, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The TV was very good, and I was able to log into my streaming service for entertainment. The location is excellent for access to the Mesa airport as well as restaurants."
