We had a wonderful family vacation at this cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong table, foosball table, kayaking on the river, making s’mores at the fire pit and making meals in the well stocked kitchen. Looked just like the pictures!

Slice of heaven

Spacious, clean home nestled in a serene river valley at the base of the highest mountain east of the Mississippi. The house is comfortable enough to never want to leave, but convenient enough to so many fun things to do, you have to venture out. Ramble down the hill to kayak, fish or swim. A quick 20 minute deive to an easy hike in to a waterfall (roaring fork) with the kids. Both Biltmore and Grandfather are within an hour making for easy day trip outings.And Emerald

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved this house. Being able to walk down to the river was incredible. We spent a lot of afternoons fishing and spending time in the water. They even have tubes you can use! The large deck was great for grilling out after some time in the sun. The sleep number bed was also perfect for getting a great nights rest. I highly recommend this property!

summer on south toe

Excellent house - plenty of room for all. The balconies/patios are beautiful with views of the forest and you can see the river (and hear it). We loved the river - were down there every day. My dad, who is 80, was able to get down there....but it was not easy for him - it's pretty steep. The grill outside is awesome and permanently hooked to gas line (so no running out of gas). The kitchen is very nice and well stocked. Has 2 dishwashers (but one can't open fully because it hits the fridge). Would recommend and stay again!

Wonderful Cabin and easy to get to

Great 4 days spent with two families. Kiddos loved the bunk room and all that the cabin had to offer. Check in and check out was super easy and house is great.

Would stay again!

Overall this worked well for our large group and we had a wonderful time! A few things we didn’t expect: dog poop on the grounds around the house which we cleaned up on arrival, lower level shower regularly turned ice cold during use, the sleeper sofa on the lower level was broken and “not for guest use” but the house is beautiful and clean and well-stocked. Maintenance was very responsive with communication. We loved the river and the hot tub and the bunk room and of course the kids wanted to live there forever!

great space for multi-family

this was an excellent space for us, 3 families coming together - floor plan perfect (everybody had their own floor), huge table for dinners & family game nights, river is amazing with lots of amenities (kayaks, tubes, life jackets) - kids spent hours down on the river. Kitchen was well stocked and location'/view was amazing. great family vacation.

Birthday celebration 🎉

We enjoyed celebrating my birthday with family and friends. The house was perfect for everyone. We enjoyed the game room downstairs, the big kitchen and the deck with amazing views. We saw turkeys, eagles, woodpeckers and hawks! Perfect weekend!

Beautiful House

Loved our stay here! Had a girls weekend and had plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. Beautiful steps that lead down to the river with a cute fire pit on the way down. The hot tub was great as well! Would stay here again!

Relaxing

This house is absolutely perfect. Our very large family had plenty of room to play and roam. It's situated at a lovely spot on the river and was well stocked for the kids to have loads of fun on the water. The house is very well stocked with everything a guest might need, impeccably decorated, and so comfortable we didn't want to leave. If we are back in the area we will definitely be staying here again.

Serene Stay Near Spruce Pine

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Estatoe Oasis with family and friends. The property had everything we could have wanted. Sitting on the huge deck and watching the South Toe River was so peaceful. It was close enough to the Blue Ridge Parkway and gem mining to be convenient. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Very nice stay!

This house may have been the nicest house I have ever stayed in! Good hiking trails close by. Burnsville had everything we needed. We had a great time in the river. A great thing about this area is that it doesn’t get hot. I would not advise tubing the river now, water level was too low. Bring your water shoes.
