I booked and when I got there I realized I didn’t have my DL so I could not get the room but was still charged. I asked them my husband had his DL so can we book a room.They asked smoking or none I stated non smoking. They seen my husband smoking outside the car and said we don’t want problems judging by sight.I said what do you mean. They stated he is smoking so u need a smoking room.I repeatedly stated I have a 6yo daughter and my husband does not smoke in the car house nor would he be smoking in the room with my daughter in it or around her. After constantly repeating he did not want problems. I got frustrated and told them it was ok never mind. I was tired my husband was tired we are from Wisconsin and needed a place to stay for the night. We were even going to pay again after loosing my money due to not having my DL on me. We just needed a room to rest. Husband and wife were very judge mental and rude. The office smelled like moth balls. They were speaking broken English I couldn’t understand them much. They began speaking Arabic amongst themselves going back and forth then looking at me then outside where my husband was ugh. I finally took my service to Sure stay a hotel near them it was clean the staff where friendly caring. We ended up staying another night!! NOW I KNOW WHY THE PARKING LOT WAS EMPTY AND HAD A 90% VACANCY !!!!

The kind manager greeted me right away and he went beyond the call of duty to show me room options and explain everything clearly. The room was fine for my overnite stay. I rested well and the location was very convenient for my birding activities in the Brownsville area. No complaints from me.

The bed sheets were dirty, the bath tub had hairs all over, & the owners (front receptionists) had the worst customer service. They constantly surveillance you to look for any excuse to charge you more. The owners migrated here from India, and their English is hard to understand. Do not trust them with your credit card information!
