Welcome to Saltdean Sea View, a charming bungalow boasting stunning sea views in the lovely village of Saltdean. This family-friendly property features three bedrooms, including king-size beds and a bunk bed, and a sofa bed in the living room, comfortably accommodating eight guests. Enjoy modern amenities such as a fully-equipped kitchen, private parking, and a private entrance. Situated a short distance from Saltdean seafront with easy access to the beach, this is ideal for a relaxing getaway.

The Space:
Saltdean Sea View is the ideal coastal getaway. Upon entering the property, you’ll be welcomed by the homely and cosy feel. The charming living room is where you can sink into one of the comfy, grey sofas and enjoy pure relaxation. One of the sofas can also be made into a sofa bed creating the holiday let's occupancy of eight. Spend time socialising with your loved ones and enjoy an exposed stone feature wall which adds to the quaint feel of the property and you’ll find a large bi-fold door showcasing the breathtaking sea views over Saltdean Vale.

Open the door in the summer months to let the warm breeze drift in or step outside onto the wide balcony which gives views over Saltdean and out to sea in one direction, with the South Downs National Park in the other.

Continue through to the rear of the living area and you’ll enter the dining room. This space is bright and stylish with a modern, glass dining table and grey padded chairs. It is the ideal spot to enjoy family breakfasts and evening meals with friends.

The kitchen is a spacious room with light wooden cabinets and black granite worktops. Spotted tiles add to the charm. You’ll have everything you need for your stay as the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, toaster and washing machine.

Along the hallway, you'll find a family bathroom, and three bedrooms.

The first two bedrooms are cosy spaces with cream walls and a large windows which allow for plenty of natural light to enter the spaces. The quaint rooms features large, king-size beds which are complimented perfectly with colourful cushions. The bedrooms are complete with wooden bedside tables, a spacious chest of drawers, and a large wall mirror. The two king-size beds are zip & link, meaning they can be split into two singles upon request if this is more suitable for your stay.

The third bedroom is ideal for children. With modern bunk beds and the same colour scheme, the room is filled with warmth.

The family bathroom is modern and tasteful, creating a stylish space, and featuring a bath and separate shower.

Property not totally private with downstairs neighbour passing bedroom & kitchen windows also had a food delivery driver knock for downstairs neighbour as although there are signs its not particularly clear.Property is dated and very tired in places and needs money spent to upgrade.I had to leave my car on the road outside as the driveway is very steep, my car could not make it without grounding, this would be any issue for most cars, for us this was also very inconvenient for my parents as with mobility issues as they had to walk down the steps which have no handrail, I booked the property as it was on all one floor & so this was frustrating!My duvet cover and sheet was stained in a few places, one of the pillow slips was also stained. Very poor! bedroom carpet frayed, cobwebs down the side of bedside cabnet, chest of draws needed cleaning inside, a travel case and bag of random stuff in wardrobe. Windows dirty, front door area not inviting as it was dirty and there was a few bits of rubbish out there. Mould in shower around the door runners, floor edging broken and overall in need of work. Kitchen dated and in need of work. Bit of a shame as view was nice from the lounge & sofas comfy but would not recommend.

The property is actually split in two with the downstairs a separate unit. This wouldn't be an issue if their access didn't involve coming past your bedroom, bathroom and kitchen every time. As a result we had to keep the blinds closed all the time during our stay for privacy. It also confused delivery men who came round the side and knocked on our kitchen door several times by mistake. The property is in need of maintenance and a really good clean (particuarly the bathroom which had mould in the shower, a broken plug in the sink and the edging of the bath which was broken on the floor). On a positive the views from the balcony across Saltdean down to the sea are wonderful although there is no furniture so we had to use the dining room chairs to sit outside on the balcony and appreciate the view.

We had a lovely couple of days here. The property is spacious, clean, and in a quiet spot with amazing views, the sea on one side and open fields on the other. Charlie, the property manager, was great and quick to respond to any enquiries. Only a 17 minute drive to Brighton city centre. Saltdean is officially my new favourite place in the south! 😀
