I love this hotel

I love this hotel recently renovated very central. Itā€™s not modern. Always ask for an upgrade. You may have to pay a little more but well worth it very competitive.

I wouldā€™ve given it 5 stars for staff helpful and friendliness but today I asked a young man if someone could please bring my suitcase down I was using one of my 2 crutches and was shattered just walking with my handbag. He said to me is the lift not working and then canā€™t you do it yourself! Every other member of staff were fantastic helped me in and out on my mobility scooter which they let me leave charging in their cloakroom. They moved my room to one nearer the lift and it was great very big I wouldā€™ve given cleanliness a 5 but bathroom some weird stains and dirt on walls but other than that it was perfect. I even had a Seaview and it wasnā€™t a fair walk to the beach either, which was lovely nice couch in the room and TV suited me nicely.

Awful. Truly awful. Will never stay here again.

Awful. Absolutely awful. This hotel used to be a gem and a location of pride in Bournemouth. It is now dilapidated, ceilings and walls peeling, toilets that run for extended times, a bedroom window that could not be properly closed and a clapped out bed mattress that was deeply uncomfortable. This was by far the lease awful part of the stay. It's. ow 1.38am and all night people, drunk people have been hurtling up and down the corridor. I've politely requested that they keep it down multiple times but it's happening again even right now. Management are doing nothing and not answering at the front desk. Tortuous loud ridiculous night. This was not an inexpensive hotel and a huge disappointment.

The pillows were rock hard, the water from taps was yellow and heating on high we had to have all windows open and fan on this was at the beginning of March. We booked it for the pool but you have to pay a daily charge to use the pool. But we had a lovely time and the staff were brilliant we would just bring our own pillow and lots of water next time. Iā€™m glad we paid for a cheep room if I had paid more I would have been very disappointed.

This hotel is in a great location, with fantastic views and everything in walking distance. We had a sea view room, with the added bonus of a balcony. The room could have be cleaned better we found broken glass pieces on the bathroom floor and a crisp packet in the bedroom area... The lounge area is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a drink or a meal. The food we had from the bar menu was good, although limited choice. On the whole, a good weekend.

We have just had a nights stay and altho for some people the hotel would appear old fashioned and outdated thats what makes it so unique and has a oldy world feel about it .The staff were friendly and professional and our balcony room overlooking the sea was spotless and just perfect .infact we relaxed on the balcony and caught some winter sun .highly recommend
