Historical Hotel, Main Street Blowing Rock
A luxury, short term rental experience located in the heart of historic Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The Reinhardt Rooms, formally the Parkway Hotel, is newly renovated and decorated by acclaimed interior designer Molly Northern. The Reinhardt Rooms combine simple mountain contemporary design with a historic, southern hospitality and aura.
The Reinhardt Rooms are located directly in the heart of historic Blowing Rock. Stay here to be able to walk and explore our great hallmark town.
Unit No 1 is our second biggest space in the building. It is complete with a full living room with a pullout sofa bed, dining area, kitchen, washer/dryer, full bathroom, a bedroom overlooking main street, and deck access.
The Reinhardt Rooms are located Right in the heart of Main Street, Blowing Rock. Walk to any of the shops or restaurants in our awesome town. You can unload in the "Loading Zone," then park full-time in our reserved spot in the lifted parking lot behind First Citizens Bank.
Before booking our property, please read:
1. This is an extremely old building, actually it is one of the oldest in Blowing Rock (1924). It isn’t perfect. Sometimes the water takes a little longer to heat up and the windows leak during “gully washer” storms. With that being said, we love it anyway and are constantly making improvements.
2. We live in a true “hallmark” town. While it is an awesome community, calling someone to fix a problem is often met with “I can put you down for next week” (The sense of urgency is not always there).
3. This is not our full time job. We have other priorities including dogs, school, mothers-in-laws, etc. We will do the best we can if a problem comes up, but please know we have to balance a big family.
4. If you plan on staying with us during the week, please know that the building receives commercial deliveries Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Often, these deliveries happen between 6-7am. They are not there long but it could be noisy. The overall street is very quaint but the building is situated near other restaurants that get deliveries throughout the week. Please let me know if you have any questions about this point prior too booking.
With that out of the way, we will do everything in our ability to make sure you have the best experience possible. Blowing Rock is an amazing place filled with amazing people and amazing things to do. We hope that you will give us a chance! -The Northerns

Bright lovely space close to town
This was a bright, clean, very comfortable stay right in downtown Blowing Rock in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very beautifully decorated with lots of natural light! We enjoyed it so much and would definitely recommend to friends!

Charming downtown apartment
This was such a cute place to stay in Blowing Rock! The location couldn’t have been better for walking around Main Street, with plenty of shops and restaurants near by. The check-in process was easy, the designated parking spots were great to have, and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay.

Back Again!
This has become our favorite spot to stay when we visit our daughter at App State! The location is perfect and makes for an easy walk to everything we need in Blowing Rock. We’ve stayed at two units and both are very clean and well stocked with everything we need. There’s also fresh cookies! We can’t wait to stay again!

We love staying in downtown Blowing Rock and being able to walk to the shops, park, trails and restaurants- this unit is right in the middle of it all! It is above Blue Deer and next to Mellow Mushroom. If you want to stay downtown then this location is perfect!
The unit was nicely renovated and had nice little amenities like welcome cookies, a few k cups and quality shampoo, conditioner, soap. We enjoyed the little patio out back and the history of the building itself. Others mentioned noise which I think is to be expected given being on Main Street- we always pack sound machines when we travel so we had no issues. My only recommendation would be to pack an eye mask for sleep- the bamboo shades had no liner and if you have little ones going to sleep early the sun pours in. At night the lights from the shops made their way thru the windows as well and I was wishing I had an eye mask or the blinds had a privacy or black out liner. Final note is the stairs to the unit are narrow and steep- we ended up using the back entrance to haul our stroller in and out. If you have trouble with stairs this may not be a fit but was not an issue for us.
Overall, great stay in a nice unit with thoughtful perks. Would definitely come back likely with just the husband and sans 2 kiddos ;)

Loved our stay in Blowing Rock. Extremely pleased with this lovely newly renovated unit. Beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and bedding. We were worried that it would be noisy, but that was never an issue. Close to everything. This will be our new go to spot when visiting Blowing Rock.
