Worth staying here.

Lovely hotel with beautiful antique surroundings. Many personalities have stayed there. Plush environment. Good breakfast in the mornings, Good size well equipped bedrooms.Best to come early as busy after8:30 a m. Good central location. Parking on site.

Overall it was a nice stay. Positives: The decor in the entrance and bar area is impressive and could leave you gazing at it for some time! We didn't dine in the evening, but the breakfast was excellent with a great selection was hot and cold food. The bed was also very comfortable that encouraged a restful sleep. Not so good: There is an additional £10 per night parking fee, this could be made clearer when booking. Checking-in was very slow and if you need additional assistance at reception you may find that it is not always attended (some people resorted to knocking on the counter to gain the attention of staff behind the closed door). We had issues with our room card that resulted in 2 trips at the end of an evening to reception then ultimately a member of staff returning to the 3rd floor to let us in. Then again in the morning the card yet again didn't work.... so another trip to reception. The hotel is very nice and has many lovely features, and the other niggles we had could be easily addressed especially being clear about the extra £10 per night parking.

Wonderful

Had a brilliant stay at the Imperial. Parked up a couple of hours early, no problem leaving the car, got checked in with a lovely lady who was on Reception and just had to pick up our key following an afternoon in Blackpool. The building is full of history and the bar and entertainment room were lovely, as was the room. Just as friendly on checkout as well and will look forward to returning!

A beautiful hotel, public areas lovely. Its easy to see that it was once THE best hotel in Blackpool and still is in many ways. The bedrooms are tired (I can only speak for our room 325) but it was clean. Facilities were basic, old wardrobes, but ceiling had been painted, the floor lino was stained and sticking up in corners in the bathroom, but the shower had been recently grouted and fresh sealant. so guessing there is a decorating project underway. We loved the property. Staff professional, friendly and very helpful. Food good. A nostalgic example of Past Grandeur

The hotel was situated on the seafront. There was a bus stop and tram stop directly outside the hotel. Although at an extra cost there was lots of safe and secure parking which we were happy to pay. The hotel was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable. The Bed and Breakfast package we purchased was great value for money. Lots of choice for breakfast and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. When visiting Blackpool again we will certainly stay at this hotel.

The Positives: I was really pleased to be allowed an early check-in, which made a big difference to my day. The staff at reception and housekeeping were all very friendly and welcoming, which helped create a positive atmosphere. The lobby area was lovely and relaxing, perfect for sitting with a coffee or just unwinding. I especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area overlooking the beach – a peaceful spot that really stood out. The breakfast room had a beautiful old-school charm that added character to the morning experience. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciated. The hotel also offers baggage storage after check-out, which was incredibly useful since my train wasn’t until the evening. Room for Improvement: Sadly, the rooms are quite dated and in need of refurbishment. I noticed thick dust on the lighting fixtures, which wasn’t ideal, particularly as I have dust allergies. The biggest issue for me was the temperature in the room. There’s no air conditioning, and no fan provided, so the room was unbearably hot, even with the window open. I barely slept, which really impacted my stay. On top of that, I felt itchy in bed, possibly due to the mattress or mattress topper. During breakfast, I was told to wait before helping myself, but after about 10 minutes I saw others going up, so I followed. It felt a bit disorganised and slightly awkward. One plug socket in room faulty. Cutlery dirty.

Hotel is Very Tired. In need of much upgrading. We were put in a small room. Not to bad until the Tiny Bathroom No window red Hot radiator we asked for and an at 6pm never arrived. Phones again at 10pm did arrive. Breakfast was another matter. I took Two fried eggs both like Rubber sausage not marvellous. Glad to get out in fresh air. No air con at all

We love the imperial super hotel the one thing i was disappointed with was lack of info with the drinks vouchers 7pm to 11pm we were at the soul festival at the winter gardens so we couldn't really use your bar but i know not to order them again

There were 5 of us in total and I actually booked me and my friend together at the same time and I ended up on a totally different floor to the rest of my party..apart from that it was very comfortable stay with plenty of space in the room and a massive comfortable bed…
