We had no heating in our room (6) the first night there Friday. It was so cold we put our coats on the bed, early hours of Saturday morning, spoke to a lovely lady at reception, & within 30 mins there was someone there to sort it for us, so thank you. It was our 2nd stay there this year, entertainment was really good Shirley bassey was fantastic, food is always beautiful, so thank you once again for a lovely stay, be back in the new year. Love the Lindean..

Good hotel but improvements needed.

The Lyndene is a nice hotel with quite good food and really good entertainment. However, I think they need to take a serious look at their processes and facilities. The price we paid for the room we had for 2 nights was quite simply extortionate. The room was so small and dated and the bathroom was difficult to turn around in! Things like the mirror being broken and the door paint all scuffed are easily fixed but there is no attention to detail. It just feels like get as many people in as possible. The breakfast was self service chaos, only 1 toast machine working. I don't care if they were waiting for parts, it wasnt good enough. Nothing is explained by staff, they just assume you know. Meals need more planning. Mange toute both nights and red cabbage to go with it!
