Beautiful view

Wonderful house on the lake with gorgeous views. Plenty of room. Nice fully equipped kitchen. Lots of games to play. Outdoor fire pit was wonderful and we enjoyed the spa!

Wonderful place to stay with family!!

This lovely well maintained and well stocked log cabin was everything my family hoped for and exceeded our expectations! It was just the right size for our family and we all appreciated having a bathroom co-joining each bedroom. The outdoor space was perfect for all the range of activities our family( ages from a 2 yr. old to grandparents) wished to engage in! The view of the lake and surrounding mountains was exquisite! Thank you for sharing your cabin with my family!!

Beautiful View

We decided to stay at this cabin for our yearly trip with friends. The views of the lake were beautiful, loved the seating area near the lake. We booked this cabin for the views and the spa near the lake. Unfortunately when we went to get in the spa, it was very murky and dirty. We called the rental company, and they sent someone out right away. The gentleman who came to clean the spa, told us that it needed to be drained and refilled, but the owner or rental company would not approve it.. he did his best to add chemicals to clear it up, but in the end, it didn't work and we were unable to use the spa for the full 4 days we were there, which was very disappointing. Had I known that we wouldn't be able to use the spa, we would have booked a different cabin. The cabin was nice, loved the fact that each room had it's own bathroom. The game room was roomy and a great addition for our nightly card games. Overall the cabin was nice, clean with wonderful views, but I would not stay here again. I felt like we paid for a listing and we were duped.

Fantastic lake house

Great location and beautiful home. Great vacation rental for a large family vacation. Fantastic location to enjoy Big Bear. The home was very spacious and had enough room when we wanted to spread out. Had also large common spaces for getting together with everyone.

Great stay

Our group of eight includes four young children. We rent a cabin every year on the lake in big bear. This cabin was by far the best we have ever rented. It is clean, has lot of amenities, and was a great place to stay.

This home was absolutely perfect for our weekend away. We came out early May and loving being able to enjoy breakfast every more on the water front lounge area... The view alone is stunning. House had everything we needed. Management company was also amazing. Went in to check ourselves in that they were beyond friendly and so helpful!

Everything was good, only two things that could’ve been better. The mattresses need to be updated. They’re only and hard. And the second, the check in process. It would’ve been nice to know we had to go check in at the office before driving to the house. Other than that, it was nice.

A Friend's Reunion

My overall experience with this property, and VRBO in general, was fantastic. It was easy to search through their website to find and compare properties. This property and was perfect for couples to hangout, enjoy the house and lakefront scenery, and relax. The volleyball court and bar were some of the best parts of the house. Great rooms with many bathrooms. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get friends or family together and have a relaxing and fun getaway for a weekend.

Cozy cabin with a view, perfect family getaway

Loved staying here with my family for the weekend. We had a 2.5 y.o toddler, and she adored the cute bear themed decor and the adorable bunk bed. Everything felt quite clean, with plenty of towels and blankets etc. There was a full bathroom in all the guest rooms which was super convenient. The heater and air conditioning was great, since not all cabins have this feature. The downstairs game room was perfect for hanging out in after the toddler went to sleep, it was far enough from the bedrooms that noise from our card games etc was not an issue. The house was also fully stocked with cooking utensils and we were able to cook meals with no problems. Really enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake as well. My dad had a great time waking up early and fishing on the dock. Not a lot of fish but he still had fun. The bathroom bath tub was a bit clogged when we got there, the water drains extremely slowly. We didn’t mind this too much, but can get annoying. The location is very convenient, close to the village, Vons, and restaurants. Also super close to the marinas which was nice. The checkin staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. Very responsive and helpful, made the whole process very easy and smooth. This was over all a great place to stay, will definitely consider staying here again for future trips.

Sawmill Cove

Excellent use of the lakeside property! The outdoor deck was perfect - nice table to accommodate ourdoor dining, and lots of comfortable seating on both the upper deck off the master bedroom, as well as the main floor deck off of the kitchen/family room area. Plenty of indoor space as well. We really enjoyed the fire pit that was down by the lake.

Prefect Lake Location!

This house was the perfect location. Close to town but felt very secluded. Enjoyed fishing, paddle boarding, and swimming off the dock. The volleyball court was fun too! In the evening after hanging by the fire, it was nice having a basement for the kids while the adults could relax upstairs. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. The property was spotless and stocked with everything needed to cook breakfast and dinners. The Check-in process was seamless and staff was very friendly,

GREAT PROPERTY! THE ROOMS WERE COMFORTABLE ENOUGH FOR US IN THAT THEY WERE SEPARATE. AND WE HAD OUR OWN BATHS. THE VOLLEYBALL COURT NEEDS TLC AND FENCING TO KEEP THE BALL FROM GOING INTO THE LAKE.

Beautiful views, neighborhood and home

The views of the lake can be seen at almost every room of the house. Cozy and well appointed rooms. Kitchen and bathrooms with high end features. Appreciated the large screen TVs. Great, quiet location. Walked and rode bikes into town. There was confusion on access to the washer-dryer but was accommodated quickly. If access to washer-dryer amenity continues to be offered, would definitely consider a longer stay.
