The open-plan lounge/diner features slate floors, bright rugs, beamed ceilings and a stable door, and there is a delightful country-style kitchen area. French doors from the lounge lead out onto a private patio with a table and chairs.


Less than a mile from the rocky beach at Welcombe Mouth, spectacular cliff footpaths stretch high above the breaking waves as they wend north towards Hartland Point and south toward Bude and beyond. There are shops, cafes, restaurants and a good surfing beach in Bude which is just 9.5 miles away. Nature lovers will really appreciate this often-overlooked corner of North Devon where wildflowers abound and deer can often be seen grazing in the fields.
