Hostess Elisa was very responsive , helpful and gave clear and easy to follow instructions on self check in process . Apartment ( arleccino ) was spacious , well ventilated , clean , bright and very thoughtfully & well fitted out with everything for a comfortable stay . Beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning worked very well in the hot summer days . Location was steps away from the plaza vecchia , yet quiet and had a little terrace overlooking some rooftops and the mountains behind . Couldn’t have asked for a better apartment ! Thanks for a fabulous stay !

Modern apartment in amazing location

Excellent room in the centre of Bergamo old town

We had an excellent stay. The room was perfect, comfortable bed, a sofa to relax, a table to eat and a small kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch. Plus a small balcony for a pre-dinner drink overlooking the beautiful countryside. We ate dinner in the many excellent restaurants. Elisa who administered our stay could not have been more helpful. Very prompt in replying with detailed information. The whole place was spotless, we forgot an item and had to return when the cleaner was there and she was being incredibly thorough. Can highly recommend

Superb Apartment

We had a great 2 night stay here, Elisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. My partner is coeliac and Elisa provided some gluten free snacks as well! Which were very welcome as the mini-mart in Citta Alta is not that well stocked. Plenty of space in the apartment and the ability to make our own meals (microwave and hob) meant we didn’t have to eat out unless we wanted to - although there are loads of cafes and restaurants to choose from Having the balcony was really nice, it was a really peaceful space to have breakfast or just chill with a glass of wine. Most things done to a very high standard, bathroom is exceptional, kitchen is great. Some furniture could be upgraded to the same standard but nothing to complain about. Some reviews mentioned noise from the adjoining apartment, and I could see this being an issue if they were very noisy, but I don’t think it is very much worse than you would get in an hotel room. The combi boiler in the kitchen seems to be shared between the two apartments, so it can be running when next door are using it and you’re not, which if you’re wanting to be quiet can be a little distracting. But these are just niggles. Overall a superb apartment, brilliant stay, Elisa was fantastic - I don’t think you could wish for a better host, and it’s in a great location in Citta Alta with a patisserie just across the street.

We stayed for 4 nights at the guesthouse. Check in / out was all done remotely. This all went smoothly. Easy to follow instructions. Complimentary snacks were helpful too. The guesthouse was situated in a great area. In the heart of the Citta Alta. Lots of choices of restaurants and bars in close proximity. Thorough enjoyed our stay.

Lovely B&B

The HOST was very communicative and helpful. The B&B is in the perfect location, really central in Citta Alta. There are only 2 rooms and we spent the first night in the smaller one before moving to the larger - highly recommend the larger one, it's definitely worth the slight extra cost. I recommend this B&B and would stay again.

Excellent spot!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bergamo, the B&B was fantastic and exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable and there was even some complimentary breakfast items. The location is excellent, and in just a quick walk you be anywhere. Such a great place and if we are ever in Bergamo again, I would stay here again. I highly recommend it anyone wanting to explore Bergamo!

The location was ideal to visit Bergamo for only one night, as we did. The guesthouse was tastefully decorated and the little balcony was so charming. We would have loved to have breakfast on it or drink a glass of wine in the evening, but we had an early flight and didn't have much time. We appreciated the little extras, like coffee and bottled water. The towels were huge and fluffy and the pillows were made of memory foam. The bed was a little bit hard, but I think that is a question of taste. We didn't try the fold out sofa, as we could have. Our communication with Elisa was great: we needed the video to understand where to go once we were inside the courtyard. She answered questions quickly and made it clear that she was always available for us. The only difficulty we had was getting a taxi, but this was not anything Elisa could influence: the contact she gave me didn't answer his phone and Radio Taxi Bergamo didn't accept advance orders. When we actually needed the taxi, all operators were busy, so we walked to the other end of the old town and took the bus. A goid solution for people with only carry-on luggage. 👍 I woild recommend this guesthouse to anyone who is visiting Bergamo. It was simply perfect.
