I paid more for a whirlpool tub in the room, which did not work. When I told staff, their suggestion was to fill the tub completely before attempting to use the jets, or she could move me to a different room. Once I filled the tub, which took every bit of an hour, the jets did not actually function. At this point I did not see it worth moving rooms. The standing shower drain cover was not attached and kept moving when I tried to shower and the towel rack fell off the wall when I hung the towel on it.
The main issue was the bed. I don’t know if it was the box spring or the mattress but it was sunken in at the middle and kept causing me to roll to it in the night. Trying to circumvent this by simply sleeping in the middle was no help either. It was very uncomfortable. I mentioned it to staff in the morning at checkout, and they took note of the issues with my room for their maintenance staff.
It seems as though this hotel is under renovations. The main lobby looks great and clean, but the elevator was out of service and upon entering the second floor, there was styrofoam littering the entire hallway and there were multiple large boxes (I assume from TVs) stacked against the wall at the end of the hall.
I missed breakfast and cannot provide an opinion.
