To Whom it May Concern,
My wife and I were very dissatisfied with our recent stay at the Bennington Best Western Motel that we booked through Expedia. From the moment when we checked in at the main office we were concerned because we could see that the upkeep was not being done at this hotel. There were huge cobwebs/spider webs in the entry windows with debris and dead bugs all over them. We both hoped that the webs were isolated and the rooms would be better.
We were given room 177 which was located down a hall which was located through a blue door. When we entered the blue door, there was an ice machine in the hall with a sign on it reading “Out Of Order”. We then had to go through another door and then down a couple of steps and then by mattresses and box springs that were in the hall to another door that we went through, and finally our room was the first one on the right after that door.
Upon entering the room we could already see what we were worried about, that the upkeep was not happening at this establishment. We were not happy and were going to leave, but decided to stay because we didn’t have anywhere else where we could stay.
The first thing we noticed is the debris on the entry rug and the floor as we walked in. We then noticed that the shades on the lights that were working were ripped, dirty and damaged. The reason I say the ones that were working is because the main light and one of the lights between the beds were not working. (Not enough room to add all)
