Hod to stay two nights due to a hospital appointment surrounded ny a major snowstorm. The staff accomidated our medical needs and were VERY helpful with directions for dining and supplies we needed. Neat and clean place to ride out a winter storm. Thanks to all the staff for their help.
My stay at The Paradise Inn could not have been more comfortable and enjoyable. The room was large, ADA compliant, and quiet. The staff were professional and attentive. As a wheelchair user who travels frequently, I am often disappointed by the lack of accessible accommodations available for persons with disabilities. On numerous occasions, I have found that when hotel/motel managers and owners advertise their properties as ADA compliant, those rooms that are designated as accessible are disappointingly inadequate. The Paradise Inn exceeded my expectations and went beyond. The hospitality was superb (thank you to Phil!), the property was peaceful, and my room was truly accessible, ideal and lovely. This inn will be my Vermont destination point from here on. Thank you!
I paid $75/night for a weekday room in February, 2018. The room was spacious and very clean. Perhaps because I got the most basic room (through TripAdvisor), it did not include a hair dryer, iron, microwave, or fridge. When I checked out, the person at the desk said that I might have been able to get a hair dryer and microwave if I had asked for them.
My boyfriend and I decided to spend a day cross-country skiing at Prospect and booked a room. Pleasantly surprised! Great location and room was clean and quite roomy. Staff was friendly from the beginning to the end and very helpful. We walked into town and found a couple of good restaurants/bars. We will definitely stay here in the future for our mini weekend adventures.
We recently stayed two nights at the Paradise Inn. We requested a dog friendly room. First, the room was clean and comfortable. Second, the room was huge! It had a lot of storage space, too. We could have easily stayed there a week. Third, it had a surprise! We had a tiny sauna of our own! It’s really only big enough for one person, so we rotated the timing. And then we opened the slider onto a patio to cool down. And finally, the price. It was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in while in Vermont- and it was definitely the least expensive. They did charge $15 per night for the dog, but that is entirely reasonable compared to boarding him at home. It was 45 minutes away from Mt Snow. Even that was ok, since we drive more than an hour to ski at a tiny ski area near home. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room and lobby. The front desk staff made helpful with recommendations for dinner. The location was convenient to town and restaurants. There is a breakfast cafe next door but we didn't have the opportunity to eat there. We will stay here again and would recommend it to others.
We stayed for one night before going to Mt Snow. Had a clean room, the bed was ok, heat worked in the room, and the shower was hot. No breakfast but plenty of places to get food in town. No complaints!
Nicely set back from moderate road noise emanating from Main Street in Bennington (the property is located behind a church library) I enjoyed a very comfortable and quiet night here. While the room was modestly furnished, the bed was quite agreeable, and the complimentary WiFi worked great. I was able to adjust the fan and temperature precisely. The location is also a short walk or drive to town restaurants, and I enjoyed a super breakfast at the cafe next door. The motel is owned and operated by genuinely nice people too, so I felt right at home here. The Paradise Inn is easy to recommend, and I would definitely stay here again!
When we checked in, they had given us a second floor room. I am slightly handicapped and ask for a first floor room. They changed it, no problem. All the desk staff was very friendly and informative on local activities. the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this motel.
We stayed in Bennington whilst touring New England to see the Fall colours, Our room was clean and comfortable. I have rated the location as average but that has more to do with Bennington itself than the actual location of the motel - no offense intended towards any Bennington residents.
