Nicely set back from moderate road noise emanating from Main Street in Bennington (the property is located behind a church library) I enjoyed a very comfortable and quiet night here. While the room was modestly furnished, the bed was quite agreeable, and the complimentary WiFi worked great. I was able to adjust the fan and temperature precisely. The location is also a short walk or drive to town restaurants, and I enjoyed a super breakfast at the cafe next door. The motel is owned and operated by genuinely nice people too, so I felt right at home here. The Paradise Inn is easy to recommend, and I would definitely stay here again!
When we checked in, they had given us a second floor room. I am slightly handicapped and ask for a first floor room. They changed it, no problem. All the desk staff was very friendly and informative on local activities. the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this motel.
We stayed in Bennington whilst touring New England to see the Fall colours, Our room was clean and comfortable. I have rated the location as average but that has more to do with Bennington itself than the actual location of the motel - no offense intended towards any Bennington residents.
Within walking distance of downtown restaurants. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. However, while the bed linens are fairly new, the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortably old. For the price, we expected better quality sleep accommodations.
We blocked 40+ rooms at the Paradise Inn for our July, 2017 wedding and rented both the king and queen suites for ourselves and our family for the entire wedding weekend. We also asked to use the Paradise Inn's backyard for our rehearsal dinner. We experienced nothing but wonderful customer service and comfortable, clean accommodations for the entirety of our stay. The suites and rooms were clean, comfortable, and attended to daily. The lawn and pool were immaculate. And Phillip and his staff went above and beyond. The front desk and cleaning staff made sure to place 50 welcome bags into each of the rooms that had been booked for our wedding guests. Phillip stayed late on a Thursday evening to replace an air conditioning unit in one of the suites to ensure that we were as comfortable as possible when primping for the wedding - he also offered to bring us extension cords and anything else we might need for the day of preparations. And, Phillip actually helped the party rental staff put up and take down the tent, tables, and chairs that we used for the rehearsal dinner AND made sure that we had adequate power, etc. for music and food. Phillip did not charge us any extra whatsoever for using the backyard for the dinner. And, we offered a fair and affordable discount for the blocked rooms - our guests were very impressed with how affordable the rooms were for how satisfying they were. We honestly cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and accommodations at the Paradise. We strongly recommend the inn for to any and all travelers.
Stayed one night with wife and two kids.Came to bennington to visit and do hike. The inn was a perfect place for that. Very clean , stayed in main building second floor.Very nice size room. Only wish it had a porch because the grounds are very nice especially in back by pool area.Super easy check in /check out I would recommend this inn. Frank
We stopped here because we'd been driving for so long and it was 1 am. This place had relatively good reviews, so we figured we'd give it a shot. The room we were given was in B building (in the back) and on the second floor. The decor is incredibly dated and the room was not well put together. I noted that the wall paper was attached to the wall at the ceiling with staples. The view out the window was of a tiny house-like structure (2'x2') that was falling apart, the "art" in our room was a creepy murder-scarecrow, and the shower was tiny and looked gross. We opted not to shower when we woke up. The bed was clean, though not very comfortable. I will say that the lobby for check in is gorgeous, spacious, clean, and modern, so I definitely felt a little misled! The staff at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable.
Paradise Inn is surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Once inside the building, I noticed it's very dated. However, our room was super clean and cleanliness is my #1 concern when renting a room. Front desk staff was friendly and they offer excellent coffee in the lobby every morning. Price was a bit high for the dated rooms so hopefully they're paying the housekeepers what they deserve.
After a recommendation from a local resident of the area, we decided to give this motel a try. Was disappointed for the cost of the room, lack of amenities. Yes it WAS quiet, clean & bed was comfy. The downside was that there was no in-room coffee maker or refrigerator. Yes, there's coffee in the lobby, but I like to get that 1st cup-o-jo without having to make a trip out of the room. Same goes for that late nite cold beverage availability...
We recently spent 3 nights here and have stayed here often in the past and it seems like this place is deteriorating. The toilet requires you to hold the handle to get it to flush, the mattress was harder than a box of rags and the place had a slovenly look about it. The TV was a 20" - 24" CRT model. There are very few plugs so recharging your devices is a challenge. We will look elsewhere on our next visit.
