I have never stayed in a VRBO so well equipped and stocked. I brought all sorts of paper and cleaning products but didn’t need them at all. Home is huge and exactly as advertised. Owner was very responsive.

Property management was great and easy to work with. A few things that they cannot control is water conditions. You cant really swim in lake or fish in lake when we were there ..and pics made it seemMore of a sandy beach but given amount of seaweed, kids couldn't get in and swim. Kayaking was great but you have to go very far from shore to even swim or attempt fishing. Other than that part everything else was great and home was clean and extra additions too.

Very quiet and comfortable property with relaxing outdoor & indoor spaces with great lake views. The host was very responsive and made sure the property was everything advertised and more. Our group really enjoyed our stay!

House was roomy. Enough space for 6 of us. Nice view of the lake. Kids enjoyed the kayak. The hot water was extremely hot so you really had to be careful when turning it on.

On Golden Pond

Our stay was great. Perfect location, very quiet. We loved the patio. The house was very clean. If you are looking for a swimming place, we would recommend Whipple Beach which is very close by. A very good Kayaking pond, but not for swimming. Communication with the owner was great. They only thing we would recommend is getting a bigger gas grill, too small for our family of 8.

Perfect place to host our family for afternoon picnics. Plenty of space inside and out to enjoy the foods we brought and talk to various family members. Super well stocked house and kitchen. Hosts always available. Water from the well was not the best so bring your own drinking water. A bit of noise from nearby highway. Stores very convenient nearby. Our family wants to come back here next year.

Great family get away!

The property was just as described. Very well stocked and the wine and snacks were a great welcome gift. The owner was extremely responsive even having a baby gate delivered when we couldn’t find the resident one. We had 6 adults and 5 kids (2 under 2) and it met our needs perfectly. There were 2 pack n plays and a high chair. The best part was being able to bring our dog. The kids had their first kayaking experience and there were nice parks and a beautiful beach a short distance away. Nice to have an extra folding table and chairs so we could all sit together. Thank you!

Family fun weekend

We had a great time! Fun spending time with family and lots of fun things to do within minutes of your house. Everyone enjoyed Ernie’s on Gull. It was the family’s favorite outing.

Relaxing Family Getaway

Communication was great! The house was very spacious and stocked with so many helpful things (including some snacks and wine which was a sweet touch)! The huge couch was fun for our whole family to hang out. We had a couple of movie nights! There was an extra folding table and chairs in one of the bedroom closets that we used for a puzzling table. The two bathrooms were super nice to have as well as the washer/dryer, A/C, and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Outside, we used the kayaks provided to paddle around on Mile Lake and had two campfires with firewood provided. Parking was plentiful and the driveway fit our four vehicles and 2 fishing boats. Overall, our stay was super comfortable and very positive!

beautiful views, Nice yards

It worked out for us as we were able to have a small family reunion and we were able to meet our 2 great, great granddaughters ages 2 and 2 months. the ponds are not usable as far as wading for our 2 mimi schnauzers but they loved smelliing all the wild animal smells from deer and squirrels and chipmunks! plenty of room and patio was nice. Since we are older, the bathroom showers could have been a little bigger and safer but we managed. the step into the house via the kitchen is dangerous. even the younger relatives almost fell getting in so should consider fixing that and having more light outside at night. esp since we had to take pups out to do their jobs! Great kitchenware etc but the oven could have been cleaned as we tried to use and it smoked up so had to open windows. The toaster oven could be updated. But all in all it served our purpose and was close to stores etc. We were happy to be able to enjoy the outdoors. Thank You

Lovely Haven Between Two Lakes

Our group of eight found a comfortable and peaceful haven here. A couple of members rose early and fished for a bit before others were even awake. Others enjoyed hanging out or taking walks. There were plenty of games, both indoor and outdoor. The host provided welcome snacks and a bottle of wine. When we needed anything, our host was quick to respond. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Fun with Family

Excellent property for an up north get-away with my kids and their families. House was perfectly equipped for my young grandchildren and roomy enough for all of us. The house and beautiful yard was kept up well and located in a very private area within a short drive to town, activities, parks, and beaches. Loved it!

Quiet lakefront property to share with family

We took our son, his wife and 4 teens seeking a house on a lake. The bedrooms were more than adequate for these teens to have privacy to spread out. The lake was small and quiet, a perfect setting to relax. It’s located in Baxter, and just a few miles from huge Gull Lake with fishing and boating fun.

Beautiful View and Family Style Home!!

I want to say the owners are top notch when it comes to communications. That's the first thing we loved about our stay! Very friendly and always making sure you have all the Information you need!! Now the house. Very comfortable beds :). My entire family loved the beds. Very comfortable. The house felt like home! Everything you need for a comfortable stay with all accomodations. The lake. Lover kayaking the two lakes. My kids fished and caught sunnies each day! Full of sunfish. We were greeted each day by geese, ducks, loud and beautiful loons :) ,and a black bear. If you are looking for a fun, safe, family style, outdoor vacation, this is your place!!! Thank you!!

4 generation yearly Baxter area trip

1st: we Love that our 2 fur babies could join us! 2nd: the house is beautiful and spotless. We'll stocked. 3rd: great having 5 bedrooms. No doubling up. 4th: the yard and the 2 lakes are pretty. Everyone loved kayaking, and with Annika's being the 3rd kayak, everyone got to go together. 5th: We had great R&R. Nisswa is close. Swim beaches are close. 6th: Definitely Recommend!!

Excellent home and location

The property was amazing for having peace and quiet overlooking the lake. Close proximity to Brainerd/Baxter made it extremely easy going back and forth throughout our time there. The owner was incredibly responsive and pleasant. Will definitely attempt to stay again in the future if in the area!
