Very nice hotel in a great location in the centre of Barcelona. Newly renovated and well worth staying here now, it’s been done up very nicely with the rooms and public areas all being great. The staff here were very friendly, hospitable and helpful.

We’ve been travelling around Portugal and Spain for the past month and have been staying at various hotels. (Beautiful countries but haven’t been impressed with customer service and staff at restaurants, hotels and stores compared to our country Canada). The service at this hotel is the best one we’ve received. Check in was very easy and the 2 gentlemen and porter who served us have been the friendliest, most professional and helpful. (Very convenient they and rest of staff speak English) well). The hotel has been renovated, rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious and updated, bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was nice. Would stay again and highly recommend it. Our friends we”re travelling with also agree and we’re happy to end our trip on a high note.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, comfy beds and room. Unfortunately our windows opened up into the inner hall/court, so the air wasn't great. It got stuffy very quickly, so air-conditionning was necessary every time we were in the room, and as I am not a great fan of AC it was a little annoying...The location is ok, but not the greatest depending on what you want to do.

Brilliant Gem in Central Barcelona

The Medinacelli hotel was a great find, right in the heart of Barcelona and close to La Ramblas, Gothic Quarter and Harbour, so lots to see close by. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room was incredibly comfortable. I stay in lots of hotels and this is the best nights sleep I've had in a long time! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and again, one of the best I've had. A well deserved 5* all round and thanks for a great stay!
