An OK hotel in a very touristy spot (Bar Harbor). Could have been cleaner - though not terrible - and bed could have been better though also not terrible. Generally quiet hotel which is a plus. Staff was helpful and the bus that takes you to the center of Bar Harbor is very dependable (every 15 minutes during high season) so you can avoid parking in Bar Harbor which is close to impossible. In touristy spots like Bar Harbor trade-offs even at a higher price usually are a reality.

The room was large and the view from the top floor could not be beat. Having a balcony to sit on and enjoy the spectacular view was special. The hotel was convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was nice that the free bus came directly to the hotel for pickup so one didn't have to deal with finding and paying for parking in Bar Harbor. The staff was friendly and we appreciated having a free breakfast each morning.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff in a great location in Bar Harbor. We have stayed multiple times with our two dogs. The pet friendly rooms are tile floored, spacious and on the ground level next to green space which makes it so convenient to stay with pets. There are also great ocean views and a balcony in the two rooms we have stayed in. Highly recommend this hotel.
