Great Weekend Get Away

The house was gorgeous and very clean! Hot tub, ping pong table, grill and fire pit were an added bonus. The view was absolutely breath taking. Would recommend to anyone!

Relaxing Getaway

The place was beautiful.. everything looks so perfect as described on the pictures. We relaxed nightly in the pool... I recommend this spot for all those who are looking to rest while living in luxury.

There needs to be maintenance put into this place. It feels and looks like a lot of things are falling paper including the pool umbrella. Breakers kept going in and out while using the stove and lots of scuffs on the walls. Host was very nice and replaced our remote in the master bedroom promptly. Plenty of linens and the rain shower was a nice touch. The outdoor space was the best part of this rental even though the TV on the balcony was not there like it was in the pictures. Other than that everything else was ok.

Farther than Barton Springs

1st off - we have booked some great VRBO's. This property is between the Buffalo Gap and Steiner Ranch area not Barton as advertised. Photos are deceiving. The level of craftsmanship is far beyond what is advertised in the listing. Also, if you have kids this may not be the most kid-friendly home. One of our kids fell down the top of the stairs (that is made of wood and metal) because there is not a rail on one side and an odd gap. We texted the property management about it and the first thing they said was “we don’t offer refunds” – we weren’t looking for a refund, just trying to address the safety of this home. The driveway to the property is very long and steep so backing in and out can be difficult. The pool/hot tub is not heated and is disconnected from the home so have to go to through the garage parking area to get to the pool. The exterior was also quite dirty upon arrival. Though the view is calming and serene, the pools sits on the edge of a cliff so if your kids were to stand and fall, it would not result it anything well. The area is about a 40-minutes drive to downtown so it’s not close if you would like to be where all the activities/great shopping there is in Austin. We ended up not staying at the home and booked at a luxury hotel downtown Austin our entire stay where your travel experience and level of service will go far more.
