Located minutes from Stone Mountain, this renovated fishing cabin allows for 5 to sleep comfortably while looking over the 6 acre Lake Edwards West. Wake up early and enjoy a cup of coffee while you fish from sun up to sun down, watching the turtles and blue heron basking by the lake. A playground is available for the kiddos and a fire-pit can be used during burn season. Private drive and multi-car parking accessible.

Our Dream Cabin

Staying at this cabin is everything we could ever want. This is the dream for us. Just simple living at its finest. It gave us the perfect opportunity to unwind and just spend time as a family (as well as hike Stone Mountain). 1000/10 and are already thinking about going back! Plus I had to peek at what mattress we slept on because I definitely need one for my house!!

We came up from Tampa Fl to see Sturgil Simpson in concert in Duluth Ga and stayed 4 nights. Place was very peaceful and quiet. Nice lake and couldn't have asked for better weather. Would definitely go back again.

The Bait Shack was an exactly what we were looking for. The quaint cabin was nestled in the heart of town, but hidden by a thicket of trees and boasted a lake side view. Food and recreation were only minutes away, but the ambiance of the property was that of seclusion and serenity. The simplicity of its charm adds to its allure. Loved staying at the bait shack by the lake. It was quaint and perfect for my stay. It was well equipped with needs that you may have over looked when you left home. I was hungry when I got in late my first night but there were some light snacks that saved the day. I’d stay here again without question.

The property was even more beautiful than listed! It was as very clean and cozy with every detail well thought out. There were even snacks and a coffee bar waiting for us! The cabin was awesome, and just as described in the listing. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, dishes, and coffee. The tennis court was a bit unkept, and the edges of the lake were grown up. But that didn't keep us from fishing. The owners were very friendly when the kids met them in the yard. Amazing Hideaway

This fishing cabin is so serene and cozy. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kiddos. Very clean and the little extras were nice. There are fishing poles (we bought and left a kids pole) for some family fishing. My grandson was so happy to have caught fish. There is a nice play are for the kids and even a record player which my husband enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.
