Stayed here for six nights in September 2025. The home is clean and comfortable. Three miles from Mt. Rainier National Park Entrance. Natural, beautiful setting. Saw deers and Elks on the property. Multiple trees of apple, pear, and cherries on property. The cabin is on the National Register of Historic Places, the homestead was established in 1884. Saw Milky Way at night from the property every night we were there. The property manager is very friendly and very helpful. He kept the hot tub ready to use. It was nice to get into the hot tub after long hikes in the National Park.

Private home.close to Mt. Rainier
The place is spacious and well stocked. The caretaker Summer was very nice and friendly. There's a lovely deck, plenty of beds (we had 7 adults in our party), stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook and eat if you bring your own food. The property is hidden away off the main road, but close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. The only negative was the hot tub cleanliness. The water was a bit green-ish and smelled a little like mildew. We still used it, showered before and after, but that was the one drawback to the place.

Incredible area and close to Mount Rainier
I will start off by saying that this is one of the best vrbo/air bnbs I have ever stayed at. The host was amazing to work with and answered every question I had immediately, they were also kind enough to work with us to get in a little early to unload stuff. We were in town with our family to elope in the mountains and chose to stay here to get ready and relax. The house itself had a lot of character and is very nice and well put together on the inside. The property is amazing, tucked back off the main road but just far enough to rarley hear car noise. It is a very well kept property and since its surrounded by woods you get some unique opportunities to see some wildlife as well, we saw elk and deer while we were there. The fire pit was one of our favorite hang out areas as we spent every night relaxing and looking up at the stars and listening to the frogs in the pond. We also very much enjoyed the hot tub, perfect for unwinding after walking all day in the park. All of the rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, and all utensils you would need to cook. There is plenty of parking and easy to find the place. Anyone looking to get away for a weekend or any special occasion I would highly recommend, you cant go wrong. I hope to make it back another time in the future myself.

Great location, great host
Perfectly located for visiting Mt. Rainier National Park! The cabin is secluded, peaceful, and packed with great amenities. We especially enjoyed the serene surroundings and relaxing in the hot tub after our base camp hike. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were exhausted and requested a late checkout — despite having another booking that day, the host graciously accommodated us. Highly recommended!

Perfect Mt Ranier Start Spot
Family stayed here to explore Mt. Ranier for our first time. Highly recommend this as a terrific place if you are going to Ranier, and if you are staying anywhere close to here, I assume that's the case.
House had everything we needed - Basic kitchen staples, comfy beds, TVs with streaming services, and even some complimentary food & drinks. The hot tub was warmed and amazing, and we had regular sighting of deer and a huge herd of Elk. Wish we had brought our telescope, but the stars were bold and bright even without.

Spacious cabin homestead stay
Such an amazing property literally 5 mins from MT Rainer National Park. Beautiful cabin feel with 3 cozy bedrooms and 1 huge master bedroom. The bathrooms are fully stocked and nicely updated. This cabin had all your needs you just bring your guests and food. Hot tub is huge. Elk grazing in the grass. Tadpoles and frogs in the pond. It is beautiful. If you stay anywhere, stay here. The hosts were extremely prompt and communication with them was flawless and they helped us with all our needs and concerns. Wonderful people. The wifi is decent and they have apps and tv so we were all happy and entertained. Games in the garage and a huge fire pit to roast smores. Will be coming back next year and years to come.
