Although the business has been sold and is under new ownership; the staff, is the same. I hope they keep the familiar friendly staff for most of them have been there for years. This in one reason we book here on a regular basis. Clean and friendly.

One of the lights in the bathroom vanity was out and the other was blinking. I reported it and finally after reporting it the second time the one that was out was replaced, but the other one kept on blinking. The room could’ve been cleaner. Everything was OK, but it just wasn’t great.

Cleanliness could be improved

The front desk staff was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The room was nice but the bathroom had streak stains and dust/dirt in the corners. It also had a huge empty wall that could be used for towel rods or hooks to hang towels, but for some reason hotels don’t like to put enough hooks in bathrooms to hang things. There was no daily room cleaning service, which is a big detractor. We’re not in COVID anymore so there’s no excuse. The breakfast was pretty weak and the elevator was disgusting. The hotel seemed recently renovated except for the elevator. Parking was good.

I was disappointed to see the Days Inn & Suites I booked was now Sleep Inn, which I hated a year or two ago in Tennessee. The staff at the desk was very friendly. One of two rooms was very musty. But the staff quickly swapped it for another, no questions asked. The room was clean, but lacked some amenities normally found in a hotel room, like complimentary lotion. And at least one of the electrical outlets was too loose to use. The free breakfast was an elevated continental breakfast, with hard boiled eggs and waffles added. Also, the walls are a little thin. The hotel could definitely use a refresh.
