Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection.

The location is fantastic, in the Old Town, with plenty to see and do within walking distance. The hotel is cozy, clean, well worth the money. Some hotel staff were excellent; when our wine cork screw broke, a lady behind the desk found one to open our bottle. The next night, the man at the desk was surly and refused to open the bottle or help us. As for the restaurant, we were very disappointed. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent. We made 8 pm reservation for fondue dinner; they had no table, sat us outside (it was raining, though we were under a canopy). Waiter was surly, unhelpful (threw down the raclette heater, didn't explain anything, complained that we were ordering "cheese and cheese." After 45 minutes with no food, sitting in the damp, we complained and left. They have received such great reviews that, perhaps, their arrogance has impeded their hospitality.

This hotel is in a great location close to many restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The hotel is clean, and the continental breakfast is good with a good variety. Rooms were clean and very spacious. We found the beds to be a little to hard for our liking. The restaurant staff was friendly. We like to wish the front desk was as friendly. We felt like we were bothering them when we came up to check in and check out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, bed could have been more comfortable though.

Great location, helpful staff! Must have the fondue at the hotel restaurant!

In advance, I informed the hotel that my arrival would be early morning and asked them to hold my luggage after I arrived at the hotel. When I actually arrived there, I was very happy because my room was ready and they let me check in despite it was still early morning! The single bed room was nice size for solo traveler and very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is center of the old town and very convenient for sightseeing all of landmarks. The hotel restaurant was pretty and delicious cheese fondue. Definitely, I go back to he hotel again when I visit to Zürich.

Nice hotel with good breakfast and the free mini bar is added bonus. We will stay here again

Well set up and good location. Tasty breakfast, too.

Very nice hotel. Only negative is the lack of Air Conditioning which necessitates opening window which exposes you to the loud noises coming from the bar patios nearby.

Nice place, very clean and great location to everything. 14 min walk to the Train and right in Old Town so lots to see and places to drink and eat.

Great location with an excellent restaurant downstairs. Had the best cheese fondue we've had on 5 trips to Switzerland. Our only complaint was the lack of air conditioning.

We didn't realize that we had eaten on their restaurant's terrace during several previous visits to Zurich until after we had checked in. A pleasant surprise!

Very enjoyable stay in a scenic and convenient part of town. Friendly staff and charming rooms on the fourth floor.

Great shopping area and close to lots of cafes and entertainment. Can be abut noisy in the evening.

Staff was very accommodating in all areas such as booking tours and answering questions. All in all the hotel was a very enjoyable experience.

Located within walking distance to the main train station in Zurich, the Adler is a good choice for both tourists and business travelers.

The hotel has perfect location. Staff is friendly. Price is good. Minuses: no air condition in the rooms, outside noise, poor Wi-Fi connection. It is ok to stay except summer season.

Location was fantastic. Very basic, but clean room.

Centrally located in the old city, it's easy to get to most places from the Adler; a short walk from the HB and directly on the tram line. The room was clean, and well-appointed compared to typical Swiss hotels. The free internet was slow, but adequate (faster internet is available for pay). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely stay here again.
