We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. This is a very tired hotel which is badly in need of a makeover and is not four star as advertised. We chose a very expensive room described as "Deluxe" which it was not. Nor was it the 30 Square metres advertised. Room size is very important to us and i expect the measurement to be the usable bedroom space. Here it seems to have taken in the entrance corridor and bathroom as the actual bedroom area was only about 22 metres. How it can be classified as a four star hotel when the facilites consist of a narrow corridor seated area from the check in to the breakfast area which weirdly also houses what passes for a bar. If you expect shampoo, shower gel and conditioner in the room forget it. They a squeese plastic container which i have not seen in any decent hotel for al least 20 years. The only good thing to be said about this hotel is that it is clean and close to the railway station. Wont be staying there again.

Our family of 3 stayed in the executive suite and it was beautiful. Modern suite, large master bedroom and the the adjoining private living sofa room was made into her bedroom. Both rooms have our own big TVs, master has a desk and lounge areas, large windows overlooking the Bahnhofstrasse, bathroom was marble and clean and modern. Own nespresso machine, mini bar, champagne at arrival, staff was friendly, a pillow menu for different kinds of pillows! Location was excellent! Next to train station and designer shops. Highly recommend!

We stayed there for a couple of nights in early June 2019, when Zurich was experiencing a heat wave (85F-90F; 30C+). The air conditioning in our fifth-floor room was unable to keep up, with the temperature inside rising quickly to an uncomfortable 75F (24C) after the sun hit the building's facade (which is facing East). To make matters worse, one of the two rolling blinds was not functional. We notified hotel staff, but these problems weren't remedied. Additionally, the in-room refrigerator did not cool its contents at all and the minibar was thus unusable. Cleaning was mediocre: the shower partition gasket featured a thick coat of black mold; the utensils and coffee samples were not replaced after we first used them. Although the hotel was conveniently located in close proximity to the central station, there surely are better-kept hotels in Zurich at these prices.

We stayed here for 2 nights, one on arrival into Zurich and one on our departure. On the first night, we were located on the 3rd floor with a lovely spacious room. However, on our last day, we were placed on the 1st floor in a small room. We were kept up most of the night due to the noise outside on the streets. I would recommend a room higher up to avoid the awful noise. Apart from that, the location cannot be more perfect. A stones throw away from Zurich HB station so it was very convenient for us. We were provided with a city map on arrival and the reception staff were very helpful and polite.

After some research on centrally located upmarket hotels , I narrowed down on this and was only pleased with my selection. It is just 3 min walking from the Zurich railway station. It is located on a well patronised shopping street and many good brands plus eating houses are available on this street. We were a family of 4 and got 2 rooms adjoining on the same floor. The low end rooms were spacious, had a good bed, choiceof pillows, spacious toilet. We were very comfortable with the concierge service. Even the breakfast was above average. We did not try the food in the hotel restaurant as we were touring the city. There is tram stop just opposite the hotel and so also is a taxi stand. This hotel is outstanding value for money in terms of comfort offered alongwith services nearby. Will surely stay here if I return to Zurich.

I stayed here cuz worktrip around 3 weeks. Thx for everyone here treat me so great like family and did me favors while I need ! Warm greetings frm staff in reception and restaurant everyday while see me. Upset to say Goodbye to them. But it is next new start! See u guys in future! 😀😀

Right next to the train station, shopping, Starbucks, food, and transit. Great location. Smallish rooms but lovely washrooms with walk-in rain shower. Breakfast was pricy but good. Train station is a two minute walk and there is a grocery store and drug store within a minutes walk once inside.

We arrived in Zurich and found this hotel an easy few meters walk from the statue at the front of the station of Zurich. Staff offer you a glass of water on arrival, help with bags to your room explain everything in your room and are interested in your comfort. On arrival we had a standard double room, clean, warm and cosy, bathroom average size and tea and coffee making available. Bed was great and pillows awesome. After travelling a week around Switzerland we returned and had a suite upgrade, it was delightful, it has a large area in the bed section and a comfortable lounge, beautiful toiletries available and a coffee pod machine, and a kettle also. The pillows are sumptuous and everything clean, room serving most efficient I have seen. We had in room breakfast and it arrived on time and hot. Only downside here is you are in central Zurich and the noise on the street at 3am etc can disturb, but you accept that as part of your location.

Really glad that I have chosen this hotel during a time limited online promotion. Location-wise, it is just across the road from Zurich HB train station, at the beginning of a huge shopping district and 15 mins walk to the river, park and churches. Room-wise, it is very clean, comfortable and spacious. There is air-con which will be handy in summer although we didn't need it during our stay in May. Nice touches with choices of pillow, kettle to make our own coffee/tea and Swiss famous chocolates to sweeten the stay. Strongly recommended.

The Hotel St. Gotthard seem to operate with guests getting in the way of their job. I arrived late in the day and needed an alcoholic beverage. I got one,a very expensive G&T. But one was all I got, the barman closed up at 11:30. The small room had many trip hazards because small height change steps in the floor from hall to room and from room to bathroom. At midnight, the staff started moving furniture in the ballroom above my bedroom. The whole room shook and I had to call reception to bring this to staff attention. In the morning, I needed an ironing board & iron to press clothes. The items arrived but the iron was broken and I wasn’t convinced it was fit to use. Finally on checkout, I was asked if my stay was okay. When I said it was dreadful, the receptionist no longer spoke good English.
