This was my first time staying at Marriott in Zhuhai. I have stayed at Intercon and St. Regis before. To my surprise, the rooms are Marriott are quite comfortable and spacious. The room rates are reasonable for the kind of service and rooms you are getting. All the rooms are quite new and has an open bathroom which makes the room seems alot bigger. The location I think is great as it is only within a few minutes walk to many restaurants, supermarkets and of course, starbucks. You will find a nice shopping plaza just outside the hotel with everything you will need. It is I think more convenient than Intercon or St. Regis and with cheaper room rates. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip to Zhuhai.

It is located in Zhuhai town on the foothill which provides a fantastic view on the upper floors. The City View Room, which i used has a very nice view, quieter, clean, ample space, had enough refreshments, etc. The hotel worth the amount i paid during my stay there.

This review is based on our stay at the hotel from June 8th to July 5th We visit Zhuhai every two years and we always stay at Marriott Zhuhai. It has the most convenient location, and it is good for both business and casual sightseeing. We stayed at the hotel for over 30 days. We know hotel staff from various departments very well, and they are always courteous in their greetings. The only incident during our stay was when my and my younger daughter’s swimwear went missing. I could not find same replacement at the local shopping center. It was a Sunday night, and I talked to the duty manager about the incident; he said he will try to find out what is going on, and his colleges will get me back by the next day early morning. I told him the best time to reach me is in between 9:30 AM to 10 AM in the morning. The next day, around 8:10 AM, we were all woken up by the phone call, even when the Do Not Disturb is on. The person behind the phone said, “We found nothing, and we are sorry for the inconvenience.” I went to the hotel front desk after the breakfast. Luckily, the front office manager is still Coco Xu. We recognized each other immediately. She was the person who took care of all the issues and followed up during our last stay back in 2017. I know that I can trust her to take care of all my problems during the stay. She apologized for her colleagues’ miscommunication, then she coordinated with housekeeping manager Mrs. Crystal. Later, they made a visit to one of our two booked rooms. In the end, we still didn’t get the swimwear back, but I know she did her best. Coco offered us a free limo service once she get to know that we are going to Macau for a short 3-day stay, We explained that we had already booked a limo 3 days ago, so she offered us a premium package upgraded for free and reserved 2 high floor rooms for us once we returned to the hotel. We stayed in many other luxury hotels in China. Very few hotel managers do their best to resolve problems like Coco Xu. Most of the time they just apologize and offer an upgrade instead of a solution to the original problem. Coco also followed up and contacted us after we left. She messaged us that we left the laptop charger in room and that housekeeping will keep it for us when we come back. On the last day that we stayed in Macau, she also confirmed the booking with us and made sure everything was in place for us to come back. What I want to mention is the day right after we come back from Macau to the Marriott Zhuhai. Once our limo vehicle stopped in front of the hotel, the doorman greeted us and other people helped us with the luggage and stroller. The front desk attendant called Coco Xu when we were doing the check in process. Coco appeared and asked us if there is anything else that she could help us with. Once we stepped into our room, there were welcome back letters from the housekeeping manager, Mrs. Crystal, a fresh flower arrangement, and complimentary treats. It was a very welcoming experience. We also spent 2 nights in St Regis Zhuhai. The total experience was mediocre compared to Marriott. They had best Italian restaurant in town, premium ingredients for the breakfast, but the hotel toiletries felt cheap. The room service attendant even asked for my older daughter’s social media account information, which was very unprofessional. We chose Marriott in Zhuhai for a reason. The Intercontinental Zhuhai is close to the bridge terminal to Hong Kong and the terminal to Macau. It is convenient for entry and exit but it is too crowded. Sheraton Zhuhai Huafa will have the best location in the future when the current construction projects surrounding it will be finished. We ignored St Regis Zhuhai for a reason. Marriott group has already ruined Ritz Carlton, they have no idea of how to run a luxury hotel at all; instead, they just expanded aggressively in order to profit. Former Starwood’s St Regis will soon fail to the same category as Ritz Carlton. The Marriott Zhuhai is located behind a Southern Chinese style garden, on a very quiet street that provides a tranquil setting for this hotel. Shopping centers and restaurants are all in walking distance, but you never feel crowded.

This Marriott really deserves the 5 stars. Its simply excellent. The reception, the rooms and the restaurants. The location is great as well and allows to stroll around. The breakfast is one of the best i have seen. Congratulations.

We had another fabulous stay high quality, clean hotel and friendly staff. The club lounge was magnificent. Great selections of food and drinks during morning and cocktail hours. Special thanks to Will Wu he was extremely accommodating and helpful. He is one of many reasons I keep returning to Zhuhai Marriott. Jason R.

For this hotel, quite comfortable and pretty near to beach. I'd give a big like to it, because of their perfect service and caring. Especially big thank you to the western restaurant manager, April Chen. She did help a lot and very care about customers, excellent service and feel warm.

not a bad hotel, the lounge has very poor quality food and beverages. very cheap quality wines in particular, the aircon is great at this hotel, the staff are great at this hotel the rooms are quite comfortable, unusual design of the bathrooms which would actually make it very uncomfortable for a twin share.

I like the complimentary Executive lounge benefits. As platinum member, I enjoy the multiple complimentary meal times and the environment while dining. Location is convenient & quiet surroundings. But the city view rooms are too near to the other residential buildings that I have to close my room curtain most of the time.

I was just for one night but got a very good room in Executive level. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Service was great by all the staff at the Executive lounge. Location is very close to Jiuzhou ferry port (less than 10 minutes by taxi). This is a very good option if you want to be close to the ferry port.

The hotel is beautiful, nice rooms, great service and excellent lounge with pleasant staff like Daisy Chen and Jasmine Fan. I want to especially thank Will Wu for always being helpful and friendly since grand opening. I will keep coming back.
