The room we had was pretty large and the bathroom was a little bit small but still fine. Everything was clean and in good repair. The breakfast was pretty good but nothing special. The location of the hotel isn't great but I think it's a good value. Overall, good place to stay.
Very basic hotel, staff ok, the room was clean but old decor and ancient TV, with no safe or tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was grotty but the shower worked well. Best part of the hotel was a center courtyard which doubled as a bar. Location wasn’t good, you would need a taxi to get into Zadar, and there were no shops, bars or restaurants close by. The worse thing about this hotel was the breakfast, very little choice, awful coffee and the milk left out for the cereal was left in plastic bottles so when it was poured over the cereal it was warm. We stayed here as part of a tour, we would not stop here again. This is the only review that I have given a poor rating.
This hotel is just far enough away from the center and yet near enough to spend time. Parking is available. They have a lift and A/C. Staff very helpful with directions. Not manyb restaurants within walking distance but we went back to town to eat.
Just stayed for one night nothing really to complain about was just travelling on so this hotel was fine ,had breakfast /dinner here both were reasonable , not the best hotel but suited my needs, would stay again if I returned to this part of the world .
I really think this is a good place to stay considering the low price. We payed 35 euros per night, for a clean and warm room, and decent breakfast. Everyone was very kind and polite, the room was quiet and very tidy. More than i expected for this price.
The hotel has a central heating/air system so you cannot regulate the room temperature. Our room was stifling, but the front desk told us they couldn't turn off the heat although the weather had warmed up considerably. We opened the window all the way and slept little because of the postage facility behind the hotel. Lights were on all night, and the staff worked long hours so it was noisy. Breakfast was okay. Basic room, no amenities and it was not close to the old town.
Very simple hotel far from the city. Good price, but to fully enjoy the city during day or night time I would choose another option closer to downtown. The rooms are clean and staff is helpful. Fair breakfast, air conditioning is not as good as it should be in hot days.
Basic hotel close to airport. We had a late arrival in to Zadar airport and it was very handy to stay in the Hotel Porto. Taxi ride cost 177kuna (approx €25) The rooms were clean & tidy Breakfast was included but we got up late and most stuff was gone !
Rooms are really basic and there's nothing to rave about the hotel actually. Staff at reception were nice and friendly though and would go out of their way to provide any kind of assistance to you. The only other good thing about this place is it has a free car park and mind you, parking in Croatia can be quite expensive. So only stay here if you have a car, intend to keep it and don't mind driving to the old city which would normally take about 15 mins. It is also very close to the airport like 10 mins away so if you have an early flight to catch the next morning then this hotel could be ideal. Otherwise don't bother staying here you are better off staying somewhere inside the Old City of Zadar where all the actions are and prices are just somewhat the same or even cheaper than Hotel Porto.
This is a good place to stay if you are looking for something decently priced and comes with free parking. Parking in the old city is not easy and definitely not free. The rooms are spacious and clean. Good for a family and for solo travelers who wants ditch a hostel.' What it lacks: A kettle and a hairdryer in the room. Their receptionists are nice and funny.
