The only good thing about this hotel is the staff at the front desk. Bath tub in our room was filthy, toenail clippings from previous guest still in a corner, vacuuming... really? Sink was also not cleaned. Blanket was underneath the flat top sheet. Cannot figure out why except that our friends who had a room nearby had one flat sheet on top and one below the blanket. Their room was also substandard. We called the front desk and clerk came and cleaned our tub personally. Both young ladies at the front desk were very respectful and considerate but until they get better housekeeping I could not recommend this hotel.
Dropped our luggage off at 11:00 AM.. Girl was very cordial and helpful. Returned to hotel around 6:45 Pm. Rang bells ar reception desk for 10 minutes, eventually man with no name tag came in from outside where he had been visiting with female house keeper. He was very unfriendly and demanding. Also refused to show Jack Regennitter, the coupe with us how much he was charging our credit card, stating it was a privacy act violation. When we finally got to our rooms, discovered the Regennitter room was not cleaned. Bedding on floor, garbage can full, soap and garbage on the dresser, bathroom dirty. Called reception and man said he would be right up. Waited 10 minutes. Went to reception and desk male very rude. Would not take any action until he contacted house cleaning person. Our only request was another room. Desk man rude and beligerant. Said we were disrespecting him. Talked about good customer service. He was not listening. He then pointed to the sign stating the hotel could refuse service to anyone and Jack decided there was no other option than to leave. Five minutes later saw desk man peering in the window of the dirty room,. He eventually came back to the desk. There was no reasoning with this man. His comments, and behaviour were like nothing I have ever experienced before in my life. I recommended to him to seek some customer service training. He advised us not to tell him how to run his hotel and advised this hotel is run differently than any other hotel. That was the most honest statement he made during the entire terrible hotel experience. We departed and will never return.. The worst hotel experience of my life and definitely the most bizarre hotel reception individual I have ever encountered. All this desk manager had to do when advised of the dirty room was apologize and say he would assign us another room rather than disbelieve us, jump on his high arrogant horse and force us to leave. When he pointed at the refuse service sign, that was the deciding factor to our departure.
Very old and really a "motel". Front desk personnel wonderful and food good, but room very run down and bed uncomfortable. Had no maid service in 2 days there. No elevator..hard to find..coffee machine didn't work, shower head worked great, but came out of the wall when I went to adjust it. Not going back!
We had reservations at another motel in Yuma where our reservations were not honored. The girl at the front desk and the manager took the time to clean 2 rooms for us. The cleaning staff had already left. Above and beyond service from some great folks who cared. The complementary breakfast, in the restaurant, was really great.
I had been told that this motel had been remodeled. The restaurant had been and it was great. Upon arrival, it was noted that the bathroom was filthy and there was only a hand towel and face cloth. In addition, the tub had crud on the bottom. The manager stated that was why you use a rubber tub mat. The tub faucet never stopped running. In addition, the door lock didn't work and it was quite a chore to fix it. When checking out, the person at the from of the desk couldn't be found for over an hour.
This used to be a Quality Inn, at least according to the sticker on the phone. Although this is called the Airport Inn, and the Yuma Int'l Airport is just down the street, I did not hear any airplane noise for the day/night I was there. I was a little leery of the place after reading some other reviews. I did not pick this place, it was a 'best deal' off another travel website. You don't get the name of the hotel until you pay the fee. Anyway, I arrived several hours early and the room was not ready, but front desk upgraded from a single to double. Good start, got to the room, and it was bigger than average. Beds were nice. Furniture, beds carpets were dated, but everything worked. They advertised free breakfast at the attached restaurant, the Omega. It is a full sit down restaurant, the free breakfast is a choice of 5, 2 eggs with pancakes, or french toast, or biscuits and gravy and 2 other choices. I wasn't expecting much, but the breakfasts came on 10 inch oval plates, and were FULL. Pancakes were 6-7 inches diameter and you got 2, biscuits and gravy was 2 huge biscuits with at least a cup of country gravy. The breakfast was the high point of the stay. Checking the menu prices itg is not an expensive place to eat but serves large portions and is family friendly. Mostly locals eat there. Off the beaten track
From the moment we arrived, we noticed the friendliness of the hotel staff. The room was very clean, inviting & comfortable. Our free breakfast every morning was amazing. The pool was very nice & relaxing. We also enjoyed the complimentary laundry room. We enjoyed everything about this Hotel!
Stayed for one night while passing through. It was clean, basic but cheap. The staff are friendly and the pool is inviting. Not much more to say really good for a cheap nights stay, close to some restaurant.
Well where do I start? Opened the door to our room got hit in the face by animal pee smell, the security latch was broke, the bathroom looks as if was never cleaned, beds looked as if some one had just laid in them, sheets had crumbs or something all over them, all of the pillows had a stain or hair on them. I'm scared to try the breakfast in the morning......or shower.....the night guy was pretty cool and nice, but other than that don't stay here. For 15 more bucks you could stay at a holiday Inn which we will be!
We received this hotel via Hotwire and were sorely disappointed! The property was old and run down. We got off to a bad start with a front desk clerk who was on her cell phone (on hold) trying to straighten out something with her cheque. She was on her phone THE WHOLE TIME! She couldn't find our reservation, and went as far as to say we were at the wrong hotel. Well we wish that would have been the case. The room was quiet and bed comfortable, but the rest of the room was shabby and the bathroom was awful! Rusty tub and sink, and toilet that wouldn't stop running unless you flicked the chain. One of the beds wasn't made all the way. Pillows were scattered everywhere. Paint was peeling and chipped. Breakfast was a joke. 2 folding tables in a conference room. Scrambled eggs in a crockpot, raw hash browns , no bacon or sausage, no bread for toast, coffee was gone. There was a fruit bowl with 3 oranges in it. Something has gone wrong at this hotel. It is falling apart. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
