Towneplace Suites Marriott Yuma2.5 out of 5.0

Would have rated higher but their WiFi reception is horrible, as noted in several other reviews. Even the cell reception is poor inside the hotel. The Front Desk is well aware of the terrible wireless reception, but all they do is advise paying an additional fee to upgrade to their "Enhanced" WiFi! Why should customers have to pay an additional fee just to be able to check their emails?
We stayed 4 nights. Service was very friendly. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Pool was a nice addition. Breakfast is nothing to write home about so we utilized the in room kitchen and cooked our own breakfast everyday.
Towneplace at Yuma has the best staff. We stay at various hotel/suites frequently. The staff's services at this particular location exceed my expectation during our multiple weeks stay. All staff is very friendly, friendly, and eager to serve. Our requests were always immediate taken care with the follow-up checks. Frequently, we greeted by calling our names when we were at the front desk. Very impressive. Such types of personalized services were not even found at any 5-star hotels nor first-class cabin in any major airlines. The services made you feel like you were at home and someone here cares about you, rather than just a strange place. Well done. Thank you!
I really enjoyed my stay at this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Carrie and her staff were very professional. The rooms were nice, clean, and very spacious. The grilling area was a plus for the group to hangout and relax.
We were on a cross-country road trip from Houston to Seattle by way of the desert states. Our first night was in El Paso where we stayed at the TownPlace. It set the bar and we decided to stay at these hotels all along our trip. The one in Yuma was great, the staff super nice, the rooms were very nice and clean and breakfast was good and consistent at every location.
The little TownePlace Suites is exactly like all other Marriott TownPlace Suites - large rooms, small, bathrooms, comfortable beds, clean, well-kept, no surprises. Well, one surprise -- perhaps some of the nicest, most pleasant people working for Marriott and this is no small feat since we find most of their staff to be fantastic. The other nice thing about this hotel is its location: across the road from one of the largest and quietest shopping complexes we had ever encountered. We had no idea that shopping would be our diversion on the one day we were in Yuma on our way to Tucson from San Diego. Highly recommend this hotel!
Young lady who checked us in was very pleasant. Acknowledged immediately my Marriott loyalty and upgraded the room. Suite was spotless with comfortable bed and furniture. The next morning the same young lady was on the desk when I checked out. She called me by name as I approached very impressive!
I stay in Yuma 2 weeks/month this is by far the cleanest and best run extended stay hotel. A little pricer but well worth it. I stay at the Homewood sometimes because I enjoy the Hilton points but that place is dirty and poorly run in comparison.
This Townplace Suites is exceptionally clean, modern and well-managed. Staff is engaging, informative and efficient. Rooms are spacious (one bedroom suite) with nicely appointed living rooms, a large bathroom and great desk/workspace for business travelers. Connectivity abounds; numerous charging ports, outlets and Netflix & Hulu-capable television apps for subscribers to those services (like me). Overall, Townplace Yuma is a first-rate property run by friendly, professional staff offering comfortable, modern and clean lodging. Nice breakfast bar, too. Win-win. 5-stars.
We were really impressed with the cleanliness and staff of this hotel. We Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with full kitcken. Everything was in great condition and ultra clean. The entire staff from check-in to housekeeping to check-out were well trained and very friendly.
