Great location, friendly professional staff, peloton at the gym, pleasant courtyard

Very relaxing environment. Very close to to restaurants and wineries. An excellent choice for a Napa visit.

Loved this hotel! The room was very clean and everything seemed new. Our room was on the 1st floor and we had a patio with a vineyard view. Very charming. The pool area and courtyard area was gorgeous. Tons of daybeds and fire pits, and even hammocks. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend this hotel! When back in the Napa Valley, we will definitely stay here again!

We, a party of four) were generally pleased with the Lodge and well pleased with the staff. But at what a price, dollars, I mean. And at a nearby restaurant, new to us this trip, and mid-level at best, I had difficulty finding a wine priced under $100, with Opus at over $500. After over 40 years of visits, I am considering finding some other places to stay and to eat. Beware.

This hotel is in a great location. Not only is it located in the heart of wine country, but has fabulous options for food close by. Also, there is a local trolley that will take you to those restaurants free of charge. The rooms were very nice and well kept. In addition to the rooms and location, the continental breakfast with mimosas was the perfect end to out Napa trip!

We've stayed here twice and each time felt it more than met our needs. The rooms are spacious and the amenities -- including nice linens, a well stocked breakfast and a nice evening wine tasting -- make it a very comfortable stay. You can spend much more on a hotel in the wine country, but you don't need to. Napa Valley Lodge is close to Yountville (within a 1/2 mile or so walking distance if you want to stretch your legs). If you want some down time, the hotel has a lovely courtyard/pool area.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Napa Valley Lodge. The price was reasonable, the location was great, and the breakfast and rooms were surprisingly good. There's a full complimentary champagne breakfast daily that we really enjoyed. We also took advantage of the pool, jacuzzi, and workout room. It was a short ten minute drive up to Rutherford for a tasting we had arranged ahead of time. The drive to St. Helena for an evening movie was only twenty minutes, Even better, Ciccio, a new wonderful and homey Italian restaurant is right across the street. Definitely try it out. All in all, this is a very good, non-pretentious and comfortable hotel in the heart of Napa Valley.

Stayed here in 2nd week in December. The staff was cordial and accommodating. The heated pool was nice and the rooms were nice and clean!

That's what I have when I go for a weekend in Napa especially Yountville...great expectations. The Napa Valley Lodge was the only place in town with available rooms and for those prices (!!!), I was expecting more than I got. Don't get me wrong. The rooms are nicely appointed with fireplaces and everything was very clean. The grounds are lovely. But I've stayed in other hotels in Yountville for the same price and comparatively the Lodge was "just okay." The breakfast is adequate but not thrilling. The bathroom is shower only. I really hated that I had to walk through the parking lot to get to breakfast and the pool. I will only return if once again the Lodge is the last place to stay in Yountville. Otherwise you'll find me at the Vintage Inn.

I booked the Luxury Junior King Suite, and let me tell you...walking into that room after a long trip to Napa was a slice of heaven. First thing we did was take a nice bath in their 2-person hot tub. They graciously provided fire logs for our in-room fireplace, so we happily went to bed every night with the fire sparking. King Bed is the right firmness and their bed sheets are of good quality thread count. They provide complimentary champagne breakfast buffet (slim selections, but it's sufficient). The ONLY downside we experienced are the outside sound level. We can hear our neighbors above us. Everything from their footsteps from one end of the room to the other end. If they dropped something in the bathroom, we would hear it. Laughter and chattering outside of our rooms are also audible noises we heard. Overall, that only downside did not ruin our experience. It just would be better if they had better insulation or soundproofing for their guests.

We stayed for the location as it is near shops and restaurants in Yountville. The rooms (and bathroom) was surprising spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom is beautifully updated with large glass shower. Enjoyed the breakfast , but dining room can get crowded during peak hours. Used the workout facility which is small, but accomodating for my needs. Overall, an very enjoyable place and would recommend.

Several restaurants and cafes in very easy walking distance, starting less than two blocks away. Room was very nice, large and clean. Loved the little courtyard off our room's patio with our own personal fountain to enjoy. Large courtyard area in center of property with big fire pit, pool, hot tub, etc. Our only complaint was that we could hear our upstairs neighbors a little more than we'd have liked.

The staff are the best part of this hotel. Room was very comfortable. Location great, a short walk to The French Laundry

I came here with my boyfriend for a weekend getaway from all things city. The location was great, very easy access to the 29 which is the road to both downtown Napa and downtown St Helena. The room was clean, open, and had a cute garden in front of the patio. We even had views of the vineyard across the way. I loved the continental breakfast that was provided. I was surprised at the wide range of foods and the quality of the foods, delish! I would definitely consider staying at the lodge again next time I visit, it's a great place for the price!

Loved it. The room was spacious and lovely, the bathroom was awesome. The complementary breakfast was a must and a great way to start our day. Yountville seems to be the perfect place to stay since Napa is to the south and the other towns are to the north. Yountville was a nice place to walk around and relax before setting off on the winery circuit.

Hotel staff were outstanding, from the staff at the front desk through personnel at the breakfast buffet through the maids who cleaned the rooms. They showed an extraordinary commitment to assuring that our visit would be a memorable experience. This included the usual services of maintaining a quality facility, directions to places of interest, extraordinary restaurants. In addition, it include assisting with unusual requests such as where to find a "Privacy Please" sign for my teenager. Facilities were impeccable: Lovely rooms, swimming pool and spa, relaxing views from the rooms, comfortable breakfast facility with extraordinary buffet. In the lobby, they offer a number of special touches: ice water refreshment flavored with slices of lemon and cucumber, comfortable visiting area, and a chess board waiting for the next challenge. The visit was all but perfect. The noise insulation between floors is inadequate. When this is fixed so noise from the upstairs does not reach the downstairs, it will reach the summit.

Great property in the quiet North end of Yountville. Easy walk to world class restaurants. Bike tours and rentals across the street. Great rides in all directions. Very clean, wonderful rooms, excellent landscaping. A great bargin in relation to the very pricey places only a few blocks South. First choice for when we go back!

NIce setting, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Room is very spacious but decor needs updating.Buffet breakfast is a bit disappointing.
